H&M Studio Spring 2015 Collection

The chic resort wear featured in the H&M Studio spring 2015 collection is presented by 24-year-old Estonian fashion model Karmen Pedaru. Last year we were given a preview of what to expect for this season, but nothing could have prepared us for the boyish style long cardigans and the baggy trousers that are incredible must-haves for any stylish lady looking for comfort this spring and summer period. Tropical prints, sweater vest, a wide array of denim styles, as well as intriguing animal prints make for a rather fascinating resort wear collection.

H&M is that one store that we love to shop around in, no matter our mood. It’s got the affordable and the slightly overpriced, it has the children’s fashions and the women’s most-loved looks. It’s one of those European retailers that seems to be expanding at incredible speed, with the news reporting on its entry into Brisbane, into Perth and so many other places, with an announcement made just days ago about opening up 400 new stores in 2015, around the globe. Last year, this expansion was at 379 stores, just over 1 a day. This year, South Africa, India, Peru, Taiwan and Macau will also be graced with the presence of the Swedish store that brings in a yearly amount of 150 billion SEK in revenue. This translated to about 18 billion in USD! As the second largest global retailer, we know that H&M is doing something right, at least; which is why we are enjoying the newest H&M Studio spring 2015 collection so much.

We’re not sure why this grouping has been made but it certainly is beginning to grow on is. There is some form of snakeskin printing on a pants and tunic set, made in a black white and pink hue combination, while the trending denim jackets come into play over the tunic. It appears to be a mismatch between lengths, but then again, fashion rarely follows rules and prefers to create its own along the way. Shorter hair might come in handy here, or even just tying it back in a low ponytail, just as the latest runway models have been dictating.

We do have long shorts appearing in the H&M Studio spring 2015 collection as well, creating duo sets with wraparound vests in the same lightweight fabrics, pulled over a white sleeveless shirt with a rounded neckline and completed with a scrunched up elastic belt in the same color and fabric as the vest and drawstring shorts set. The midi length has been in for the skirts, so it actually is to be expected when we are faced with equally long shorts. Add a pretty felt brimmed hat on your head and keep the hair to a medium length and you are definitely one of the trendiest females about.

Long, long legs and a sexy but comfortable style is so definitely the modern woman, H&M couldn’t have hit the nail on the head any closer to the mark. A high waist denim in a lighter wash of blue, looser, slightly flared bottoms and matching mahogany leather belt and shoes look amazing, especially when you add a simple sleeveless round neck tank top that you have tucked in well, and a long button down shirt that can be worn on its own as a midi length shirtdress thrown over the shoulders and sleeves rolled up. It’s a great look for every woman, who revels in her role as a mother, a sister, a wife and a daughter, no matter what her place in life may be.
