The closer we get to winter, the more colorful, artistic and the cooler our favorite Swedish retailer H&M gets! The newest H&M winter 2014-2015 lookbook featuring beauty Kate King is already here, and it does win our admiration instantly, despite the fact that very few looks are presented here (we can already imagine what a plethora of stunning trends and pieces can be found in H&M stores now). Bringing charming prints and patterns, and some uber-lovely shapes and fabrics, this collection promises to the best source of inspiration for Christmas party looks too!
Black infused with a kaleidoscope of prints and oversized shapes is the focus of the H&M winter 2014-2015 collection. We can see lots of huge floral motifs, decorating those stunning sleeveless cocktail dresses with full pleated skirts and asymmetric hemlines. Fringe accents, wide-legged pants with a slouchy feel, knitted turtleneck sweaters with curious cut-outs on the sleeves are some other noteworthy details in this line.
The message of the entire collection is clear and daring: dress in XXL volumes, still preserving your femininity and uniqueness. The dresses come with breathtaking textured skirts, while some super-long and slouchy tunics (quite resembling dresses, since they are that long) top loose pants. However, the overall result is certainly charming and so much to the point.
Today’s big trend of mixing styles, especially sporty motifs with elegant looks, is the next characteristic details of the H&M winter 2014-2015 collection. Thus a feminine and dressy dress is topped with a black varsity jacket, while sleek and minimalist white sneakers are there to complement each and every look presented! Stay cool, while feeling comfy is what we get from this trend and it’s certainly a winning one among many It girls nowadays.
While we are super exited to try on these pieces from the H&M winter 2014-2015 collection, still the much-anticipated Alexander Wang for H&M fall 2014 collection is on top of our wait- and wish-lists, which hits the market already on November 6th, 2014.
