J.Crew Fall Denim Collection 2012

Have you ever heard that denim is out of style or have you seen anyone, who is sick and tired of jeans? Hardly! Denim is eternal, a timeless classic fabric, which is so much wanted in everyone’s wardrobe. Like all other seasons, the new fall 2012 season also celebrates the power of denim, bringing a range of cool pieces for you to rock and look comfortable and trendy at the same time. J.Crew is one of the brands that shows its love for this versatile fabric and reinvents it into a variety of lust-worthy garments in the newest J.Crew fall denim collection 2012. Toothpick ankle jean in classic rinse wash, matchstick jean in Old Glory wash, vintage straight jean in Ontario wash, bootcut jean in moonlight wash are some of the fabulous designs available in the collection, so you denim lovers would rather start your hunt for the perfect piece now!

The new J.Crew denim fall 2012 collection is flooded with on-trend denim pieces that will put an end to all your sartorial dilemmas. Jenny jean is the latest addition to the brand’s already rich line of jeans, which draws inspiration from the photo of Hollywood’s most stylish screen siren wearing her jeans on the beach in 1960. Created in Goldsign’s LA-based denim studio, the Jenny jean features a high-waisted design and a vintage allure that will add the right dose of sex-appeal and comfort to your look.
Goldsign’s founder, designer Adriano Goldschmied, gives the description of the new piece in the following way: “in between a sexy jean and a boyfriend jean.” The iconic piece is available in two washes, a dark vintage and a lighter shade with a green cast. Originally, the Jenny jean was inspired by a pair sported by Norma Jeane Baker in photographs done by André de Dienes in the 1940s.

“Back then women were buying men’s jeans and rolling them up,” Goldschmied explains. “I was in some way a little bit tired of the skinny that was born in L.A. and that’s been very successful. I was looking for what’s next. My way of designing is about starting from something that’s part of a tradition and not just replicating it but innovating through fabric, fit and wash.”
Alongside to-die-for jeans, the J.Crew fall denim collection 2012 also brings denim jackets, chambray shirts, vests in workwear wash, shorts, ties and high-wasted pencil skirts. The looks are complemented with blue, black or white footwear, perfectly in tone with the overall denim atmosphere. Take a look at the collection and get your ideal pair of jeans for the cold season!
