Jennifer Hudson QVC Line Preview

Apparently, being a world-famous singer or actress helps one a lot to define herself in fashion and venture on a designer career. After receiving world recognition for her amazing vocals and acting talent in ‘Dreamgirls’, Jennifer Hudson takes a natural turn in her career and debuts as a fashion designer. The 30-year-old singer has announced a collaboration with QVC to create her signature clothing line that is set to launch this September. This is far her first deal as a fashion designer and the young diva strives to come up with an affordable and extremely wearable line for women who appreciate comfort and style.

Ms. Hudson knows it well how it difficult it is to find something stylish garments for plus-size women, as she literally shocked the world when she managed to drop 10 dress sizes, from size 16 to size 6, when she became the spokesperson for Weight Watchers. After losing 80 pounds, she comes up with a fashion line that features stylish pieces for different size women.
According to WWD, the ‘American Idol’ finalist said: “I’ve been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it. But I wanted the clothes to be where any girl could wear it — no matter what size you are — and you could feel comfortable in it.”
The Jennifer Hudson QVC fashion line will feature everything from coats to dresses, shirts to leggings, as apparently the singer can never have enough of them, as she has confessed that she has got about 300 stylish pairs. She says that she has added so many leggings in her collection as: “I’m the legging queen. What I love about a legging is, again, it’s a piece you can dress up or down and it’s still comfortable.”
The Jennifer Hudson for QVC collection will be available for purchase starting September 10. For you to know the price ranges, sheer maxi skirts retail for $75, bodycon dresses for $74.50 and leggings for $50.
