Jill Stuart Fall/Winter 2013-2014 RTW – New York Fashion Week
Perhaps no one manages to capture the girly fashion in a more beautiful way than Jill Stuart, and we can never have enough of that charming style. With femininity and sophistication being timeless trends, the designer decided to give us a chance to look utterly girlish this season too by bringing the gorgeous Jill Stuart fall/winter 2013-2014 collection to New York Fashion Week. Filled with so many fabulous and bewitching frocks, skirts and elegant pants, the collection instantly reveled the designer’s muse, which was the aristocratic Brit, “like Stella Tennant”, as she herself declared before the show.
Black, gold, red, white, burgundy and navy blue are the shades of the Jill Stuart fall/winter 2013-2014 collection, and when it comes to the material choices, we can see mainly lace, chiffon, sheer paneled silk and velvet. Laser-cutting is definitely the key attribute of the dresses, skirts, shorts and other clothing pieces, while beautiful ruffles, peplum details, transparencies, foil trimmings and flocking come to boost the delicate and girlish allure of the designs. Some of the ensembles featured cute ribbons on the neckline.
With girlishness being the theme of the Jill Stuart fall/winter 2013-2014 collection, the line mainly showed dresses and skirts in various shapes and shades, ideal for different occasions. Besides charming frocks, the designer also brought smart and elegant dinner suits and structured outerwear. In terms of accessories, everything was kept quite minimal and the only options were high-heeled patent leather shoes in black or red. Wholly, the Jill Stuart fall/winter 2013-2014 collection is sure to appeal to romantic and dreamy girls, who love to sport modest, yet chic and unique outfits.
