It’s so amazing to be in the middle of music festival season, and although Coachella is already a past, it doesn’t cease to inspire fashionistas and fashion brands with its one-of-a-kind inspiring indie and boho style. And whenever we say Coachella, we can hardly imagine it without lovely Kate Bosworth and the original style of British brand Topshop. The three make a smashing cocktail, which every fashion-addict would love to take. So, to make this festival season even brighter, Kate Bosworth and Topshop have collaborated to create an exclusive festive collection, inspired by Kate herself. Composed of 16 ultra-voguish garments, the Kate Bosworth for Topshop Festival collection 2013 bears Kate’s iconic festival style on it and comes to be an incredible style inspiration for those, thinking to update their festival wardrobe.
Talking about her designing experience with Topshop, Kate reveals: “I’ve always had a love of fashion. To gain learning experience from the Topshop design team has been a great opportunity for me. Our intent was to create fresh, wearable, and effortless festival pieces. I am proud of our work together and I adore these pieces, they fit perfectly with the mood of the Topshop Festival collection.”
The result? A stunning boho-chic collection with a strong air of freedom and a carefree mood that instantly captures your heart! Romantic dresses, plaid shirts, gorgeous shorts, crop tops, tees, ankle booties and even angel wings are some of the lust-worthy items found in the Kate Bosworth for Topshop Festival collection 2013!
And how did it all start? “Kate and I were discussing the summer trends and how she had been one of our inspirations,” said Kate Phelan, Topshop’s creative. “She was here working with us on our Christmas project and the next day Kate came in with all these incredible images and references and shared what her ultimate festival outfits looked like. It is an organic extension of Kate’s fashion sense aligned with the Topshop brand – we think that’s fresh and exciting.”
Kate herself stars in the Topshop Festival 2013 campaign, photographed at Coachella. She also appears in the Topshop ‘The Road to Coachella’ short video, directed by Kate’s fiancé, Michael Polish. This is actually not all from Topshop! The brand is planning a new music partnership and a series of other pop-up gigs that you’ll know staying tuned with us! Meanwhile, enjoy the video!
