Talking about Etro first thing that comes to mind is the sophisticated paisley pattern in brown or blue colors. The brand has been inspiring us with modern ready-to-wear pieces, shoes, jewelry collections, accessories, leather goods, textiles, home décor and perfumes for several decades. However, the Italian luxury fashion house has been having troubles with fans lately, who were complaining about unoriginal, dull and repetitive releases from the brand in terms of ad campaign. The Etro fall 2015 collection came to many a person’s liking with its snobbish selfishness and prints of 3D quality. It proved to be a deserved line of Milan Fashion Week this year, though the brand really felt the need of a boom blast for their ads. And what do you think they did? They invited a truly unprecedented style diva to feature in their Etro fall 2015 campaign shots – Kate Moss.
This decision could not have a better substitute: the bohemian spirit of the brand and its latest collection corresponds to Kate’s internal bohemian goddess for hundred and fifty percent! The British actress and supermodel feels perfectly at home with her signature rock and roll tresses. In the pictures she lies on bed wearing various pieces from the collection. The moody color palette with graphic paisley patterns looks like it was meant for Kate only. It is quite surprising how well she stands out in the mind-blowing colorful surrounding, drawing first attention to her face. Every single detail in the shots seems to intend making a giddy impression on us: the model lies in different poses, a little whirled in every other picture. Look how amazing she rocks the maximalist match of paisley looser straight cut and pressed seam bell-bottom trousers cropped above the ankle and belted at the waist, V-neck scarf shirt topped with long suit of sophisticated print and all fitted with high-heel brown and camel colored striped boots. The colorful paisley scarf dress goes perfectly with her gorgeous messy curls and the sensitive diva expression of her face that we all adore her for. In another picture, she is not alone, but with a male model, though from her relaxed royal look in the graphic geometric designed knee-long coat we can see that she is the queen here.
In the whole plan of the Etro fall 2015 campaign ad shots, we again see the maximalist idea kept with the crazy mix of materials, the brand’s signature paisley pattern (since 1984) and Indian touch here and there. And we can say that Etro has been quite determined to success as it invited the famed Peruvian fashion photographer Mario Testino to lens the ads. He has had experience of working with Kate Moss multiple times before photographing her for Vogue, so the ultimate perfect outcome could be guaranteed. The early uploads of the campaign have already made fans amazed, who waved the pictured with comments of appreciation of novelty. Knowing Kate and Mario as well as marveling Etro’s sophisticated textiles, we can say for sure, that this is a success! Kate’s incomparably fabulous indication of Etro’s spicy textiles will undeniably ensure the love of consumers for the collection.
