Kate Spade Debuts A Yoga Line

Is working out and looking more slender one of your New Year’s resolutions? You can now stick out while following your resolutions, this way killing two birds with one stone thanks to Kate Spade’s debut yoga line, launched by the American designer on January 1st and already available for purchase on KateSpade.com.

Kate Spade Spring 2016 Activewear Collection

The Kate Spade New York yoga line debut is a long-awaited one and buying some of the items available in the collection is just easier than ever: not only is the collection now sold on both Kate Spade’s online and selected stores, but it is also available on BeyondYoga.com, the luxury and activewear retailer, which includes everything from maternity workout pants to must-haves accessories. Since the athleisure trend hit the S/S 2016 runways back in September and October of 2015, more and more people felt the urge to finally hit the gym while also feeling comfortable and fashionable. No wonder, when Beyond Yoga’s website got stormed by many Kate Spade fans on the launch day of the collection, we weren’t much surprised.

The Kate Spade spring 2016 activewear collection, described as “sporty meets sweet,” is quite affordable, with the prices starting at $84 for a bra and the highest price being at $179 for a jacket. Full-length leggings stand in the middle, costing circa $110.

As the company recently stated, this yoga line is meant to combine “Kate Spade New York’s playful details and bright colors with Beyond Yoga’s high quality fabrications and flattering silhouettes”, because, as the motivational tagline says, “that’s the spirit” when it comes to working out. And that’s also why Kate Spade’s yoga line goes beyond the basics, taking what we regard as conventional activewear pieces to a brand new level. Instead of only featuring leggings, tops and sporty bras, the Kate Spade activewear collection even brings trendy jackets and skirts to the gym, available in different combos of colors – namely black, bold red and cream white.

Embellished with delicate and feminine details, such as peek-a-boo keyholes and stripes (which seem to be particularly predominant here), the Kate Spade yoga collection features pieces meant to be worn everywhere, while striving to make any silhouette shine. Take for instance the tuxedo high-waist yoga leggings with the contrasting white stripe down the side, or the sporty striped bra with a keyhole up on the middle: they all help making the figure more slender and balanced, consequently making us more prone to actually going to the gym to keep the figure just as perfect. This yoga collection basically motivates us to start paying more attention to our health and physical appearance!

Made of durable and high-quality fabrics, some items (such as the striped skirt) will even take us out to dinner or brunch, if it’s a lovely Sunday morning, due to their versatility and clean uber-feminine lines. I know, it is indeed easy to make excuses for skipping exercising on a weekly basis, but if you were looking for just one more reason to stay motivated and to keep on working out, the Kate Spade yoga line is here to inspire you!
