Kate Spade Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Collection – New York Fashion Week

The most cheerful and creative line of New York Fashion Week fall 2014 is already here and it is named Kate Spade! The brand-new Kate Spade fall/winter 2014-2015 collection takes us to Japan and China, exactly where the creative director of the brand, Deborah Lloyd found her inspiration. Actually, this isn’t the first location-inspired line of the fashion house, yet it has something special and spectacular, which may be connected with the fact that the brand is going to open a Ginza flagship later this year!

A strong whimsical allure and youthfulness took the catwalk by storm during the Kate Spade fall/winter 2014-2015 collection presentation, which was marked by an overload of bright colors, refreshing prints and innovative designs including the loose shapes. And when we say bright colors, we mean fluorescent hues of fuchsia, lime, green, red and eclectic blue, which kind of get muted thanks to the presence of much toned down colors, including cream, beige or pastel pink.
As far as the diversity of prints and patterns goes, we see Tokyo imprinted all over the collection, although there was also an entire part of the line devoted to Shanghai that came into existence thanks to the Art Deco inspired patterns used. Apart from this, you can see some common trends in the Kate Spade fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, such as animal prints, metallic shades, cozy knitwear so much ideal for the cold days of fall and soft mohair.
Although a significant part of the Kate Spade fall/winter 2014-2015 collection was taken by casual two-piece essentials, the end of the show was preserved for the Orient Express reflected in the navy color choices and glam shapes, perfect for special occasions. Think modest mini dresses, pant and top combos, accessorized with elegant clutches, headwear and occasionally masculine-inspired shoes.

Perhaps the most whimsical vibe of the Kate Spade fall/winter 2014-2015 collection was provided by the lovely bags resembling Chinese takeout container and birdcage, which are sure to embellish even the dullest looks! Wholly, every single piece from the new Kate Spade line has the ability to land you in the spotlight instantly and make heads turn as you pass by! The choice is up to you now!
