The Jenners Have Something to Celebrate on Fashion Week

Have you been Keeping Up with the Kardashians lately? Yeah, we thought so. So have we. We have been following the stepsisters actually, more so than any of the other siblings. Why, you ask? Well, who would not? They are everywhere, making headlines before they reach the tender age of 20. Kendall and Kylie, the gorgeous sisters who could very well be twins if you do not look too closely, are quite the sensation of late and they have been taking on their celebrity status as if it is the biggest badge of honor. We are not complaining at all, either. On the contrary, we have been looking at those eyes, those lips, that hair, those bodies and everything else and really wishing we were them. Well, at least I can think of quite a few young ladies who are.

But really, who does not want Kendall’s features? They are both superb when it comes to the looks department. We wonder if they ever get self-conscious actually, and then remember Kylie’s reasons for her lip plumping. So of course, with all the love we have for the Jenners, it is only to be expected that we would jump for joy the moment it is announced that Kendall and Kylie will be celebrating a new collection during the FW 2016 Fashion Week.

Next month, when the New York Fashion Week opens up and we are faced with the glitter, the glamour, the beauty and the like, we will be seeing the official Kendall + Kylie brand brought to life as well. Forget collaborations with massive brands such as Topshop and PacSun… the girls are going solo and we are positively sure it will be a hit! Their Instagram page shows them putting on such finishing touches to their new Kendall + Kylie collection, as they have been teasing a full rack of clothing, with them modelling the designs and showing off flared pant legs and some lovely white dresses.

Whereas collaborations mean that your artistic capabilities are hampered by the visions and requests of others, working on your own line-up allows you to really explore your fashion abilities. And explored they have. We are more than just a little excited to get a glimpse of what they have to offer and it already seems like no matter what the reviews will be, they are enjoying every last second of putting it all together. “This is all us. It’s enjoyable to be able to fully create,” said Kendall. “It’s a lot different from our Topshop and PacSun collections because those were both collaborations, so they obviously had a say in everything.”

The debut of the Kendall + Kylie collection will be at a private party, not on the runway, though it will take place on February 8th and the prices will range from $60 to $250, making it more affordable for the masses than many other top luxury brands. We are positive the shoes are the first pieces we’ll be coveting, but those white dresses look marvelous. As for the rest, we have a checklist: plunging necklines? Check! Crop top and high waist pants? Check, Frilly skirts? Check! We know we are going to love this!
