It seems that the phrase ‘making headlines’ best pertains to none other than two of the brightest “Instagirl era” representatives – Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The Social media sensation sisters are on, two brunette beauties, always quick on the trigger to set trends and make them viral in a flash, always full of beans to have their fingers in every pie and romping to victory every single time. The gals are decisively and commendably building up their own empires instead of lying back and reaping the sweet fruits of their elder high-heeled Kardashian siblings. Albeit having so many irons in the fire at this juncture, the sisters are willingly back with California-based retail clothing brand Pacsun with a collaborative Kendall & Kylie Jenner summer 2016 collection dubbed “Summer Solstice”, which hit the stores at PacSun.com on May 1 all priced under $60.
The out-and-out summer-worthy collection is vast enough, including 60 pieces able to equip you to a T with as many fashion staples as are necessary to handle the summer heat and to keep the body breezy. This is festival season, which means the collection is running over with bare legs and bellies, off-the-shoulder solutions and beach-ready bikinis. We see flowing rompers running the gamut, including V-neckline printed samples, off-the-shoulder Coachella silhouettes, as well as cutout options.
There are some very interesting tank top designs we are so enthused to find in the Kendall & Kylie Jenner summer 2016 collection for Pacsun. Ranging from scalloped crochet halter neck designs to high neck printed tops to that unique mock-neck cutout sample paying a tribute to the recently broken out choker craze, we have already started compiling our Pacsun summer wish list.
You can also find denim shorts here, all-white embroidered tunics and apron dresses, ‘70s-inspired corduroy utility skirts in brown or dusty pink shades, crochet bralettes, flare overalls infused with retro vibes, as well as many one-piece and bikini swimsuits to celebrate the beach season. The Coachella festival held recently with Kendall and Kylie undoubtedly there rocking seems to have impressed the sisters immensely – delicate crochet, lace, flirty ruffles and floral prints are surely to be the name of the game – to be more precise, the game of the crackerjack sisters.
Actually, it was back in 2013 when the sisters jumped on collaborating with the juvenile brand, which was initially specialized in skate and surf-inspired garments and running high among all teens and young adults. However, the recently erupted online-shopping phenomenon seems to considerably curtail foot traffic to the brand’s mall and even the fact of its pushing the boundaries and touching on street style as well could not save the day.
Pacsun filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in April 2015 and is doing all within its power to keep its positions stable in the fast-fashion industry. Tapping the sisters for a new collaboration who have so huge repercussions in the market might really result in boosting Pacsun’s sales. Anyhow, that’s really commendable of Kendall and Kylie to keep on collaborating with a brand that had huge impact on their pathway to top albeit now suffering some difficulties.
