Kendall and Kylie Jenner are becoming more and more popular as time goes on, due to their work in the fashion industry. Both have highly successful modeling careers, and have since proven their expertise in the creation of clothing. And so, naturally, the two teamed up for a Kendall + Kylie collection, which will be sold exclusively as an installation of Neiman Marcus’s #OnlyatNM program.
The sisters seem to keep taking steps up with their designing, beginning with a 2012 PacSun juniors collection, then a 2015 series of California-inspired Topshop lines. Each new brand the duo works with is a bit more mature than the last, and is increasingly more focused on their own aesthetics. Kendall + Kylie is a matured line, which will go on sale in department and specialty stores for spring. The Jenners are becoming more and more serious with their fashion careers, so it is only natural for their finished collections to mirror that.
The Kendall + Kylie #OnlyatNM collection is said to be inspired by the sisters’ current wardrobe styles, as well as some of their favorite vintage pieces. This line comes at a time where fans everywhere are trying their best to embody the styles of the Jenner girls, which is likely, in-part, the reason why it was created in the first place. It resulted in nine fabulous pieces for the spring and summer seasons.
Some pieces that are a part of the line are garments like an interestingly-cutout tea-length red dress, which will retail for $575, and a striped black and white wrap top coming in at $245. The range of the rest of the line will also include garments like a black jumpsuit and leather shorts, so we can expect to see a wide variety of pieces to expand our spring/summer wardrobes – Jenner style.
“We are so excited to have our exclusive collection for #OnlyatNM,” said Kendall, of their new line. “In our own way, we wanted to replicate our favorite looks and fabrications and bring them to the Neiman Marcus customer with a fresh perspective.”
Kylie added on to her sister’s sentiments. “We pushed ourselves to help curate the very best pieces to be a part of this collection. We love Neiman Marcus as a brand, so we knew we had to focus on creating timeless, chic pieces that their shopper would love.”
In order to commemorate the launch of this exciting new #OnlyatNM collection, Ken Downing, senior vice president and fashion director for Neiman Marcus, will be hosting an exclusive poolside dinner on the rooftop of the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. Some of the brand’s top customers and media sources will attend, where they will be able to see the collection before it goes live in stores on April 7.
