Laura Biagiotti Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – Milan Fashion Week

Graphic patterns put in the most beautiful colors and in the most creative ways define the ultra-feminine and sophisticated Laura Biagiotti spring/summer 2015 collection, which came to make the fourth day of Milan Fashion Week more summery and playful. Raising a rainbow of the most whimsical and bright color shades, the famous Italian designer managed to present a collection that has summer imprinted all over. There you’ll discover a parade of cocktail dresses and evening gowns for special occasions, as well as flirty and cheerful daywear items that can polish your day-to-day summer looks to perfection, taking your street style to a whole new level.

Throughout the entire fashion week season presenting spring 2015 collections, we have seen multiple interpretations of the famous graphic patterns, coming as delicate picnic-ready gingham prints (we saw them especially a lot at New York Fashion Week), windowpane checks and classic tartans. What the Laura Biagiotti spring/summer 2015 collection suggests, however, is an innovative and very youthful method of wearing spring’s famous graphic patterns, which come in different sized and colors, adorning dresses, skirts, tops and even lovely clutches and shoes. From the very first look presented, which was an asymmetric white kerchief dress having slight motifs of geometry on it, we noticed Laura’s desire to put the focus on graphic shapes and design solutions in her new collection. Next, we discovered even cooler alternatives of graphic dresses (both in the sense of cuts and the prints used), which were mixing lovely pastel colors with neutral shades. Oversized or micro, such patterns looked spectacular, which was also due to the careful choice of the colors and structures.
With the development of the show, we also discovered yet another creative trend for spring, being knitwear. We even saw a knitted color-blocked swimsuit with a matching cover-up, which definitely looked one-of-a-kind. Next, brighter colors and more creative design solutions in terms of geometry made an appearance, slowly giving way to nature-inspired motifs leaded by beautiful florals. We saw various sizes and shapes of colorful floral prints, but also beautiful floral appliqués giving more grace and femininity to those lovely dresses and maxi gowns.

Staying true to her brand’s style aesthetics, Laura Biagiotti made femininity the focus of her new collection, presenting an array of ladylike dresses in various shapes and forms. There you could discover those full-skirt cocktail dresses in bright shades, flowing maxi options, ones featuring organza and sequins, knitted options and designs in the pure white shade. Exactly this way did the Laura Biagiotti spring/summer 2015 collection show end, flooding the runway with delicate white gowns adorned with feathers put in the most creative ways possible.
In terms of the accessories used, the Laura Biagiotti spring/summer 2015 collection was as vibrant and graphic as in terms of the clothing designs. We saw colorfully graphic printed shoes and clutches that can brighten up even the gloomiest outfits.
One more wonderful trend for spring has been clearly shaped thanks to the Laura Biagiotti spring/summer 2015 collection, and we are super excited to get our hands on those colorful and flirty graphics, making a geometric fashion statement in the new season!
