Mango Premium Fall 2015 Collection Is All Retro

Have you noticed how so many brands are opting to go retro of late? We certainly have and absolutely love the retro trend, particularly since it corresponds with the whole 1900s era thing going on, the heavy focus placed on the 1970s. When it comes to Mango as well, the Premium collection has no qualms about exploring its retro side with gusto or the fall 2015 catalogue. Spanish model Argelich Steffy shows off her style in the latest in Mango Premium fall 2015 campaign, bringing in the 1970s with full spirit and giving us a line-up of designs that mix in the Mango essence with retro grooming, producing an alluring final product. Of course, if you are going to be dressing all retro, it makes sense to photograph in front of some retro cars as well in order to better represent the times you supposedly come from. Even the chopped curly hair brings ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s to mind, the days our parents were partying it up, decades before we would take their place on the dance floor.

Mango Premium Fall 2015 Collection

The Mango Premium fall 2015 collection includes high waists on denims and skirts, the former in a dark blue wash with hems cropped at the ankles, worn with clogs in tan or nude. Short sleeves on openwork sweaters appear here and there, while knit vests are totally in to show off the American style of the old days. Pleated dress pants with matching blazers, in colors that define camel, beige, or tan appear on the set as well, mixed in with gorgeous modern trends such as the plunging neckline that drops the V to the very top of the abdomen.

Whites, blues and beiges, along with scarlet, all in multiple hues appear within this retro Mango Premium line-up. This also includes Polo shirt style partial button downs that have not been down up and show off some skin under the tight short sleeved garments, paired with scarlet midi skirts in multiple pleats to show off the limbs in a demurely seductive manner that was all about the ‘70s and ‘80s. Though, we must make mention of the fact that bras are unnecessary this year since it is expected for you to show off those erect nipples of yours as they poke through your clothing. Match that trend with a shirtdress in shiny scarlet satin and you have a pretty sexy piece that belongs in a move from 3-4 decades ago. Belted at the waist, it only serves to solidify the fact that those times were infinitely more sensual in appeal than they are now.

Mango Premium Fall 2015 Collection

For us, we can certainly agree with the fact that while Mango Premium might be going for the retro, it has undoubtfully also evolved the modern so that the past and the future meld together with ease. And that, my friends, is the true power of a strong fashion sense, meaning that what you create can easily transcend time and space, only to deliver to the present something infinitely more beautiful than you might have tried to imagine.
