Marchesa Resort 2018 Collection

The American artist who specialized in stage and film Tony Duquette was the main inspiration for the Resort 2018 Collection by Marchesa. For years Duquette turned empty spaces into out-of-this-world scenes. He always included elements of drama and lavish details in his work. The creative duo behind Marchesa Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig were driven by Duquette’s motto “More is more” and they delivered a lavish and dramatic Resort 2018 collection. The collection is full of vivid colors, detailed embellishments, and interesting patterns.

The hot fuchsia color is a major trend both on the runways and in the beauty industry this season. Marchesa incorporated fuchsia-hued details in some of the designs and also created entire pieces in this color. The breath-taking voluminous gown in soft fuchsia color enriched with massive 3D floral decorations will turn heads whenever you show up. For less formal events there is the gorgeous off the shoulder midi dress with voluminous floral details wrapped around the shoulders.
