Michael Kors SS 2016 Campaign Inspires Road Trips

Get your best Michael Kors outfits, all the necessary stamps in your passport, and your car engine going, because we’re all getting ready for our road trip of a lifetime! This spring it’s going to be all about adventures, speeding, endless playlists of your favorite music, and a lot of fashion on the road. As you’ve probably guessed, Michael Kors has unveiled its spring 2016 ad campaign featuring Vanessa Moody, the beautiful American model, who we think didn’t receive a well-deserved spotlight in 2015, and this year will hopefully be more exciting for her.

Michael Kors Spring/Summer 2016 Campaign

The entire Michael Kors spring/summer 2016 ad campaign was captured by the mesmerizing perspective of our favorite Peruvian photographer, Mario Testino. Among the many fashion shots we have seen from him, these ones are the most nostalgic images, at least if you have a traveler’s soul.

Are you sitting somewhere up in the North, hiding from the cold and snow and with high hopes for the sun to show up? Do you want to feel the energy boiling in your veins as the adrenaline level rises for a new mission? Take a deep breath, spring is almost here! And while these photos will make you pumped both for the upcoming road trip and the fashion right now, you need to first plan for a good shopping session and a trip preparation.

Michael Kors, the mastermind behind the garments shed some light on the inspiration. Creating the collection Kors was inspired by the blue sky, the West, and women, who were strong and radiated sexiness. Well, we can really see all that in these images, except for the West though. Although the term suggests the American West, the sunny Beverly Hills, these pleasures can be found on any road, leading to any city. Paris, Venice, New York, Tokyo … you can glam up the road yourself.

It’s a scene from every man’s dream, but I’m also sure women would love to have a girly and stylish time off like this. Just you and your besties, free and carefree! In fact, Mario Testino, who translated the designer’s vision into visuals, has a creative history of working with Kors. He stands behind a few very successful Michael Kors campaigns, so there was definitely working chemistry between these two.

You already know that the theme is the road trip and the steamy car, and the sun hitting the red leather, and your black and red outfit, dancing under the breeze. And it’s ok if that low-cut gets lower as the wind becomes stronger. The muse for the story was Vanessa Moody, as well as Aneta Pajek and Grace Hartzel. Three top-rated models, a vintage American car, and a trip under the golden sun through the streets of Beverly Hills and beyond… It’s the new Michael Kors, enjoy!
