Mulberry Pre-Fall 2014 Collection

The Mulberry pre-fall 2014 collection is the first line presented by the design team of Mulberry after the former Mulberry creative director Emma Hill left her position. The classy Mulberry pre-fall 2014 collection can be described as a conglomeration of the classically British design solutions, which are created with typically minimalistic, a bit manly, and slightly 90s inspired looks. The eye-catching diversity of the options is also remarkable among the line.

The Mulberry pre-fall 2014 collection features a nice diversity of options from outerwear to dresses and top with pants duos. All of these carry the specific philosophy of Mulberry, introducing purely chic and feminine alternatives despite having the boyish attitude in case of some. This way, the collection starts with some cool jacket options, created with a specifically tiny houndstooth pepita pattern and having that comfy and warm sheepskin lining. The matching pair for this is the identically designed and patterned straight skirt. For the next option, we see an elongated version of the pepita pattern, this time put as a classy coat, combined with a super cute bow collar shirt. The latter can be also found with pure white tones, this time matched with a leather coat and a black straight above knee length dress. It has some variations with blazer and straight pants combination, which look no less feminine and sweet.

Coming to the pure British drives, the very first thing we note in the Mulberry pre-fall 2014 collection is the peculiar Aran pattern widely used for sweaters, which appear combined with straight black pants. The shift towards greyish tones is also noticeable with these shapes, picked for skirts and tops with asymmetrical hems. Finally, we can see the previously met bow collar shapes with some padded jackets and coats, too, which makes a very spectacular part of the line. So do the minimalistically created dresses of cream and grey shades, as well as the one adorned with very interestingly minimalized paisley prints.
So this is a very successful outcome of the work of skillful Mulberry design team, which does have a statement about the brand’s ideology and characteristic features, here introduced with the most effective chic vibes possible.
