Mulberry Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – London Fashion Week

Despite the fact that British fashion house Mulberry still doesn’t have an official creative director since Emma Hill’s departure last year, the brand has managed to present the stunning Mulberry spring/summer 2015 collection in the framework of London Fashion Week spring 2015 thanks to the hard work done by Fran Stringer, the head of the ready-to-wear design. We all need to bow before Stringer, since the newest Mulberry line is filled with playful and trendy pieces spiced up with Mulberry’s signature vibes, ideal for wearing on a nice day out. Stringer looked to Kew Gardens once more to design this lovely collection, only this time fused with some “hero flowers” as the designer noted. As a result, the British fashion house is in blossom this spring, referring to both the design interpretations presented and the lovely garden background of the photos.

As expected, flowers are the focus of the Mulberry spring/summer 2015 collection, coming in the form of beautiful delphiniums mainly, printed on girly dresses or applied as lacework on those delicate white blouses. In line with this the collection features some black hexagon patterns put on the background of a shimmery lilac fabric for designing that sassy structured tuxedo-style elongated blazer, the high-waisted mini skirt and the couple of A-line mini dresses, which proudly open the collection.
Front pockets, trellis used for those gorgeous black leather jackets and dresses, delicate lacework, colorful jacquard and slight motifs of sporty fashion and asymmetric hemlines are other techniques used to give life to the Mulberry spring/summer 2015 collection. Next to this, we can also see a couple of spectacular monochrome pieces, like the pure white and timeless black pieces. You can find pretty tea-length printed dresses with asymmetric hemlines, flirty mini options, mini skirts with vintage vibes, tops, shirts, stylish coats, hooded parkas and jackets in this utterly wearable line.

While the clothing pieces already make a big statement in the Mulberry spring/summer 2015 collection, no less important role is given to the footwear and handbags. Stylish gardening clogs, oversized bags and mini city bags featuring various textures, patterns and hues come to perfectly finish off the looks presented. Delphie is the name of the It bag with lengthening straps in this collection, which can serve as a clutch, a satchel or a bag, depending on the occasion and the mood you want to create.
Wholly, the Mulberry spring/summer 2015 collection has all the features to become your next fave source of spring fashion inspiration, if you appreciate the girly, comfry and easy in fashion. So get your favorite items from this line and radiate British chic!
