When it comes to the new season campaigns, creativeness seems to be limitless. Luxurious British brand Mulberry takes us diving in the fairytale-like underwater world with the Mulberry spring/summer 2013 campaign featuring Canadian model Meghan Collison and photographed by Tim Walker. Surrounded by glossy floating bubbles and dreamy coral reefs, the model showcases the candy pastel tones and romantic printed ensembles from the brand’s new season collection. The campaign was shot at Copped Hall in London last year and the result is really something enchanting, epic and dramatic.
Talking about the shooting process of the Mulberry campaign, Tim Walker said: “This season I wanted to focus on the girl as part of the landscape, rather than a character within it. Thus the pictures of Meghan Collison become more like portraits. She was…able to hold your gaze, but almost otherworldly, she inhabits a dreamscape.”
Well, Mulberry campaigns always stand out with their surrealistic and flirty themes. The Mulberry spring/summer 2013 campaign is a real under-the-sea dream, which becomes more gorgeous thanks to those classy coats and capes, printed tailored pant suits, pastel green and pink outfits, impeccable British tailoring, and the Cecily, Cecily Flower and Willow totes in caramel, black and white. Isn’t this the most romantic campaign of the new season?
