Naeem Khan’s Bride Channels Princess Leia in Fall 2017

Naeem Khan is a great designer with a fearless and varied view of fashion. His work is beautiful and intricate, as he has shown in multiple collections. Here we can see his flair in the Naeem Khan fall 2017 bridal collection and even better, Naeem says that part of his inspiration for the collection was Princess Leia.

Star Wars Princess Leia inspired the veils included in the bridal collection, so now there are two ‘mini’ veils topped with flowers, one on either side and included in half of the 14 total looks. His main inspiration for the gowns was ‘Cultures of the World’.

Naeem is known for stunningly intricate designs, patterns and embroidery, which he showcases again in his bridal collection, and every single one of Naeem Khan’s fall 2017 wedding dresses is beautifully embellished. Each wedding dress has a vibrant individualism that makes it appealing.

The variety of silhouettes is admirable, and each look is modern and fresh, while being chic and elegant. The standout gown is a saffron yellow floor-length gown with 3-dimensional floral appliques that feature feathers and dreamy coordinated sparkles. The veil perfectly matched the yellow gown, as did the shoes and it was beautiful from top to bottom, a multi textured, brightly colored dream look.

There is a variety of necklines and bodices that provide options for several different body types, so every bride can find a dress in Naeem Khan’s fall 2017 bridal collection. More than one of the dresses features 3-dimensional appliques for a textured and detailed look. The column gown features jeweled details that create a very well detailed look.

One of the greatest standout wedding dresses is an unexpected mini dress covered in lace and sparkling beading with beaded fringe that covers the sleeves for volume, movement and a bit of shimmer. It is paired with thigh-high beaded boots done to match – custom created by Naeem Khan and Christian Louboutin.

For breathability and wearability several of the wedding gowns are made from jersey, making them easy to wear for both the wedding and the reception, as they are beautiful and comfortable. The Naeem Khan fall 2017 bridal collection is masterful, each look beautiful from top to bottom. There is not an inch on any of these wedding dresses that has not been studiously addressed and designed to be stunning from every angle.

The gowns were so beautiful that the styling was minimal; the dresses stood out so much that the brides were not required to be dripping in jewels or pearls, they enhanced the beauty of each model on its own. The variety of lengths allowed for the modern bride to have several choices under the Naeem Khan label guaranteeing that the wedding photos will be as original as the dresses.
