Naeem Khan Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – New York Fashion Week

The breathtaking Naeem Khan spring/summer 2015 collection unveiled during New York Fashion Week spring 2015 brought a fresh range of playful sporty looks, something, which the designer isn’t used to experimenting with. The desire to meet the demands of the modern women has led the designer to mixing his signature classics and refined silhouettes to the much-wanted sporty motifs, which still looked utterly feminine and cute in this collection. In line with this at the show we could also see lots of bedazzling red carpet worthy looks, which are actually a cakewalk for Naeem Khan. With the Naeem Khan spring/summer 2015 collection the designer broke the wall between the sporty and the classic representing a unique Khan-like interpretation of the styles.

Thus, the Naeem Khan spring/summer 2015 collection brings lots of playful and easy-to-wear daywear options, which is exactly how the show started. The black and white elaborately beaded sporty pants and top duo matched with comfy white Oxford shoes announced the start of a completely different Naeem Khan fashion ideology, surprising the audience and keeping them intrigued to see the upcoming looks. Next, a range of colorful and printed mini dresses, top and shorts, top and skirt, and top and sporty pants duos made an appearance, all adorned with intricate beadwork, multicolor floral prints and geometric patterns, embroidery and beautiful appliqués. At times the casual and “sporty” feel was interrupted with some breathtaking gowns and cocktail dresses with lots of floral embroidery, transparency and lace details.
Youthful yellow, lilac, baby blue, light pink, black, silver, passionate red, precious emerald green and nude and golden shades were all there, coming matched with lots of stripes, sequins, tons of floral prints and embroidery, ruffles, frills and high slits. The comfy Oxford shoes matched with the daytime pieces and the gorgeous high-heeled strappy sandals complementing the evening looks were other details picked so wisely to perfectly blend in with the overall style of the outfits.

While the range of the daywear dresses and sporty shorts and pants did dazzle a lot, the culmination of the show was when the runway got flooded with the much-anticipated Naeem Khan evening gowns and dresses. It was like a magical dream that you would remember throughout your life. Think bias-cut satin gowns, outsize mind-blowing princess dresses, a chic caviar-encrusted emerald green jumpsuit, sleeveless dresses with high side slits, flowing satin dresses with lots of watercolor flower prints, as well as a couple of golden sequined dresses, a chic mermaid gown and a jewel-encrusted jumpsuit closing the show.
The Naeem Khan spring/summer 2015 collection is a dream line both for those looking for comfy and wearable options to stun during the day, as well as for celebrities and elegant ladies trying to be the queens of elegant evening parties. Making a choice from this big variety of to-die for gowns and dresses is something really hard even for the most capricious fashionisers!
