The most prominent style for 2015, particularly the summer months, is the boho chic that we are all speaking about. It is spectacular in so many ways, but when Nasty Gal is included in the mix, you can be sure that there will be nothing more awesome or more beautifully tailored into the 1970s Wild West than the outfits it comes up with. From embellished suede to flouncy bohemian blouses, the lady Nasty Gal is dressing loves her adventures and is ever giving in to her wanderlust. She has the strength of a warrior and a love for the vast deserts one can only dream about. She is, and always will be, the embodiment of the wilderness of the American West. Think cowgirl hats and lacy cut-out knee high boots, thick, Roman style dazzling leather belts with bronze appliques and colorful beading designs that are reminiscent of the Aboriginal artistic style of the Americas. Think gentle maxi dresses with lace embroideries and cool armbands worn on different parts of the limbs. Add to your wardrobe beautifully stitched crop tops and miniskirts with high waists that have been beautified with floral designed in 3D styling.
The desert rose is what calls out to the woman wearing an outfit from the Nasty Gal’s Boho Chic summer 2015 lookbook. With rose tinted glasses and a light spirit, she frolics about in airy, floating pieces that combine rather intricate embroidery with the gentleness of jewel tones, the colors appearing as rich as the bronzed tan on your limbs that has been accrued layer after layer from the days spent out riding in the sun. Slave jewellery seems to be quite a big thing for the collection, with collars falling into body girdles seen worn over a dress, which barely covers the chest, that is how deep the plunge of the neckline is, a slit up the leg that is meant to make the lower limbs appear all the more appealing to those around you. Floppy wide brim hats also make the cut for the naughty mistress of the slave, with wide sleeves to the gorgeous blouse and laced drawstrings showing off the chest from a nice plunge as well, the colorful zigzag patterned shorts tight against the body and extremely short at the hem.
Between rounded sunglasses in a desert rose tint, multiple rings on the fingers and jewellery seen dotting the ears, necks, arms and legs, it is certainly a collection that takes the exotic and the bohemian to a whole new level. Add a dress or two that you can see through, where it looks as if a nightgown has been worn out into the world with matching robe and all, you might want to rethink your stance on bohemian if you have been loath to try it on and instead create space in your wardrobe that is dedicated wholly to this sense of style. You will realize that it is one line that will rarely be out of fashion, if at all.
