Olivia Palermo Launches Second Chelsea28 Collection for Nordstrom

Not that long time ago It-girl, model and designer Olivia Palermo unveiled her very first Chelsea28 collection for Nordstrom to the pleasure of those, who look up to the fashionista for some sources of inspiration for building up one-of-a-kind day-to-day looks. The collection arrived at the stores in February, and the 23 pieces it featured did not disappoint us. If you weren’t able to get your hand on any of those pieces, or you actually managed to but would really like to repeat the experience, rejoice! Olivia Palermo’s second Chelsea28 collection for Nordstrom is finally here! Available for purchase online and set to debut in bricks-and-mortar stores on May 9, Palermo’s second Chelsea28 line-up for summer 2016 is all about breezy staples and, of course, her signature ladylike aesthetics, reaffirming her passion for geometrical cuts and minimalistic modern style.

Olivia Palermo's Summer 2016 Chelsea28 Collection for Nordstrom

With price tags that range from $68 to $198, the Olivia Palermo x Chelsea28 summer 2016 collection focuses on ensembles that can be interchangeable indeed, and aim at being worn either to the office, university and for any other more formal occasion, or during a day/night out with a friend either in town or outdoors. Each piece preserves Palermo’s undisputed elegance, and features some of the summer 2016 hottest trends. The line-up could be described as all that this summer offers us in terms of fashion, and is filled with iconic must-haves.

The collection’s key pieces are the delicate shirtdresses, wide-leg cropped denim trousers, off-shoulder tops and, of course, mannish blazers, to which the designer added golden marine buttons and clean-cut hems. In general, the marine theme is strong in this collection, and brings in slightly sleek printed fabrics, loads of denim ensembles and light blue colors, which get at times interrupted by some delicate floral prints, suede fabrics and off-white hues.

Other must-haves include the universally flattering denim overalls with bell-bottom trousers, off-white wide-leg jumpsuits and tie-neck peasant midi frocks, which will satisfy both the most glamorous and hippy girls in you. Long, dark-green military vests create a good contrast with the line-up’s pencil and wrapped skirts, while bell skirts with pleats along with some thick midi A-line denim skirts function as the yin and yang of all gowns.

A long sleeveless long vest reminds us that this collection was designed by Olivia Palermo indeed, while some cute, yet ‘plain simple’ tank tops, along with a few equally cute Oxford shirts in cotton give us something to show off on a daily basis. Each one of the pieces is meant to be mixed and matched based off of your personal tastes, so if you are looking for some head-to-toe outfits checking out the Olivia Palermo x Chelsea28 collection at Nordstrom might definitely be the right thing to do now.
