Olivia Palermo Teams Up With Nordstrom On Chelsea28 Collection

Fashionisers everywhere, listen up! Your prayers have been finally heard! It-girl Olivia Palermo has decided to give her iconic sense of style a chance, designing for the first time ever a personal clothing line. After collaborating with labels such as Aquazzura and Tommy Hilfiger, the 29-year-old former The City cast member has teamed up with Nordtrom, a renowned Seattle-based retailer, to design a collection for Chelsea28, its in-house private label. It is going to be a year-long partnership, so we have to expect four whole seasonal collections (namely spring, summer, fall and holiday lines).

Olivia Palermo Chelsea28 Collection for Nordstrom

The trendsetter announced the big news on her Instagram account just a day ago, teasing her fans with a behind-the-scene photo of herself wearing a piece of the soon-to-be released Chelsea28 spring 2016 collection. She is, in fact, going to officially debut her designs this forthcoming spring 2016, but the first shipment of the special Olivia Palermo Chelsea28 line-up is going to hit both Nordstrom’s selected department stores and online shelves in February, so you just have to save up some money and get ready to check out the official Nordstrom’s website as soon as January 2016 is about to end.

Although no one really knows either how many pieces the collection is going to unveil, or what kind of lines and cuts it is going to have, Olivia Palermo’s signature sophisticated look is surely going to play a significant role within the collection, which is thus subsequently going to reflect every chic and modern woman’s desires.

Speaking about this upcoming partnership, Nordstrom Product Group’s president recently stated that, “the ‘Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28’ collection reflects how a stylish young woman is dressing today. Olivia Palermo is revered around the globe for her style. We know our customers look to her for fashion inspiration, and we saw her consistently on our inspiration boards as well. We think she embodies the Chelsea28 brand perfectly, so it was a very natural choice.”

A modern and chic style combination has also been confirmed by Palermo herself, who just told WWD that her collection “has a little bit of a Seventies feel, but it’s modern and with a French touch. I want the girl to figure it out and style it how she wants.” Moreover, the American socialite stated that she firmly wants her line-ups to be both high-quality and affordable, which means that these pieces will be priced from $68 to $448.

“The [accessible] price is the important part. I always say it’s not about how much something costs. If it’s good, it’s good,” she said.

As far as we know, the Olivia Palermo’s Chealsea28 collection for Nordstrom already includes some fashionable must-haves, such as high-waisted tailored pants, burgundy leather skirts, boyish poplin tops, gray sweaters and denim culottes with a braided waistband and printed silk pajama-like blouses, which perfectly reflect Olivia’s personal fashion style. Now we just have to wait and see what this Chelsea28 clothing line has in store for us.

It is going to be a busy year full of collaborations for Olivia Palermo, who is currently not only working on her Chelsea28 clothing collection, but also on her Ciaté London Nail and Sephora lines, which require the young talented woman to focus on top-tier beauty products. At the same time, she is working on a jewelry line for Baublebar and on a capsule eyewear collection with Westward Leaning. If you were looking for a friendly reminder and daily-inspiration that a girl can do anything she wants to, here you have it!
