Rachel Zoe Spring/Summer 2016 Collection – New York Fashion Week

We now are gathering information on the hottest trends of spring 2016 to get ready for the season to come beforehand and to add every single must-have piece into our wardrobes. Currently, designer ready-to-wear collections are what we are concentrated on, so there must be easy, wearable but chic looks for each of us. Embedded with a spoonful of luxury, here arrives the brand new Rachel Zoe spring/summer 2016 collection fusing the late ‘70s and early ‘80s glamour with the Marrakech-inspired gypsy fashion. As far as we know Rachel too well for her unique sense of sophisticated style and elegance, which she has proved multiple times working with famous celebrities and styling fabulous looks for the, we cannot but be extremely thrilled to discover new design creations by the celebrity stylist and talented designer.Rachel Zoe Spring/Summer 2016 Collection

The first eye-catching point about the new Rachel Zoe spring 2016 line is its rich color palette and fabric choice: besides her favorite blacks and whites, she experimented with such saturated colors, as exquisite orange, bright yellow and sensitive brown, managing to make them look so relaxed and opulent at the same time. Although called ready-to-wear, we could freely rock most of the pieces showcased on special occasions. Just look at the luxurious floor-length dresses in monochrome white, yellow or the fantastic glittery and printed designs: these are designed exclusively for the red carpet! The floor-length heavily beaded and printed dress with an alluring V-neck design is something we could imagine Beyoncé or J. Lo donning to appear on a famous star-studded festival or, say, at the Grammy Awards, making the press speak about their stupendous taste and body for ages.

Lace-up techniques and fringes are winning points in this collection, as we notice them used for the fluffy jackets and overcoats, the powdery nude floor-length dress with subtle lace inserts, the wonderful deep turquoise suede coat, the lightweight printed dress and the subtle glitter dress with a distinctive gypsy flair. The latter looks so fantastic with the beautifully layered sleeves and the cut-outs revealing the gentle shoulders of the model creating that desirable ‘70s bohemian feel that has been on trend throughout the year. We cannot but mention the gorgeous tassels, fine silk, gentle lace and tough leather that come in classy design combinations. In addition to this, intricate embroidery, knitting and lovely off-the-shoulder silhouettes come to embellish the pretty little dresses and tops evoking the charing Moroccan style.

Playing with the exclusive gypsy designs and fabrics combined with the ‘70s bohemian feel and the minimalist and monochrome tend to show the colors in their utmost charm and delight, Rachel Zoe has managed to create a collection that’s both chic and modern, super-wearable and perfect for special events. We can now freely declare that the line has been a success and then wait impatiently for the pieces to be available for sale!
