Rachel Zoe Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – New York Fashion Week

Inspired by the jet-set sophistication of the 1960s (one of Rachel’s favorite style periods in history), the fresh and super comfy Rachel Zoe spring/summer 2015 collection unveiled an array of sophisticated and glamorous outfits drenched in femininity at New York Fashion Week spring 2015 today. As the favorite celebrity stylist and designer noted, it’s a collection for “the girl who lives and dreams in a fantasy world, who jet sets around the world.” Rachel looked to such style icons as Sharon Tate for inspiration to design this glam collection with a bohemian touch that is so characteristic of her easy-breezy style.

The Rachel Zoe spring/summer 2015 collection brought an array of perfectly tailored and ideally adorned dresses and separates with the Mod edge. There were lots of tweed pieces, be those dresses or tailored shorts suits, ideal for the city girls. Elegant tuxedo jumpsuits, a romantic frilled maxi dress, luxurious embroidered dresses, Greek style one-shoulder minimalist long gowns, striped midis with curious design solutions, loose lace blouses and tailored wide-leg pants are some of the beautiful pieces found in this collection, which can easily go from day to romantic nights.
Overall, the color palette of the collection was preserved in neutral shades, including lots of blacks, whites, navy blues and ivory tones that recalled the images of the beautiful Italian coastline. Overall, the mild beachy vibe was imprinted all over the collection, even on those elegant long gowns in monochrome shades and with golden chain-like details. The choice of the fabrics was based on such exotic locations as Marrakesh, Portofino and St. Tropez. Thus we saw lots of lace, textured silks, embroidered tweeds and metallic embroidery motifs.

The elegant and minimalist looks presented were perfectly complemented with ski-high shoes and comfy Birkenstocks, but also some bold jewelry pieces for making a statement. The models’ hair was gathered up into loose center-parted updos, while the makeup was minimal, just like the entire Rachel Zoe spring/summer 2015 collection itself.
Whether you want to go back in history and experiment with glam Mod vibes so much characteristic of beautiful places, or you need a couple of fresh and easy-to-pull clothing pieces, the Rachel Zoe spring/summer 2015 collection has a lot to charm you and to help you polish your style to perfection! So trust the famous celebrity stylist and look like a celeb yourself!
