RED Valentino Pre-Fall 2015 Collection

Welcome to the charming fairy-tale world of RED Valentino, where you can find a plethora of flirty dresses, girly skirts and tops and just the right proportions of cuteness each of us needs from time to time. The RED Valentino pre-fall 2015 collection is a real dream come true and it does manage to please one’s senses with its diverse styles, delicate pastel hues blended with neutrals and brights, energizing prints and patterns, as well as an array of lovely shapes and silhouettes that all praise femininity and sophistication. The collection has one’s fashion cravings covered, whether it’s about a stylish evening cocktail piece or a casual daytime attire option with military influences.

RED Valentino Pre-Fall 2015 Collection

Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri decided to embrace the Sixties with their pre-fall 2015 collection, which seems to be the right fashion epoch for the Red Valentino girl. They started the collection with interesting army influences (could you ever imagine that military can be this girly?) bringing cargo pants, army jackets, skirts and dresses with peace and love patches. Muted khaki tones intermingle with retro floral patterns used for a number of flirty short dresses with collars. In this selection of pieces, we can see the typical RED Valentino ribbon tie necks used for a variety of shirts and dresses, as well as dotted tulle skirts in khaki that looked so charming when layered with those army jackets.

As the collection develops, the army influences slowly disappear giving their place to bright and bold pop-art themes. Shift dresses and A-line skirts come embellished with pop-art geometric patterns and we can see those patterns appearing on leather too. It is in this range of looks that we discover the year’s color Marsala, which looks especially spectacular on the lovely mini dress with Peter Pan collars matched with a cute handbag with “red lips” handles.

In the middle of the collection, we find more autumnal shades, including blues and blacks, which get beautifully interrupted with the same bright pop-art patterns. A play with textures and materials gets busy here, leading to pretty and crafty looks: organza, tulle and chiffon get mixed and matched with fur and multicolor knits in a number of feminine looks. We also see that iconic transparent trench coat of Red Valentino, which also comes in a shorter version being a cute zip-up jacket.

Sober and elegant is the final part of the RED Valentino pre-fall 2015 collection, where we see mainly black and white hues, and lots of fur and tulle. Here you can find more office-ready designs too, as well as dresses that will add enough refinement and classiness to your formal and special occasion looks. Little black dresses simply can’t but be here too, coming with scalloped hems and edgy metal eyelets.

The accessorizing options are simple to-die-for throughout the RED Valentino pre-fall 2015 collection. From military-style bags and rebellious studded black clutches to brightly colored handbags with creative handles, as well as comfy and classy footwear designs with a strong retro feel, you have it all to finish off your looks with lots of personality and uniqueness. And the knee-length socks are a definite must this cold season!
