The RED Valentino spring/summer 2014 collection opens the doors of New York Fashion Week with an air of romanticism and a dreamy allure, as ever! Demonstrated yesterday, on September 4, the new collection of the younger sister line of legendary Italian fashion house Valentino takes one’s breath away with the fairy-tale like dresses, sugary colors and ethereal floral prints that clearly define the upcoming spring/summer 2014 fashion trends. Creative directors Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli as always managed to create fanciful characters for RED Valentino that will appeal to fashionisers hopelessly in love with a girly, sophisticated style.
Let spring romance begin even in the beginning of fall, since the RED Valentino spring/summer 2014 collection is here! Featuring an enchanting floral fairy-tale theme, the Italian brand’s new line again concentrates on femininity, sophistication and a charming vintage allure, trends that have defined RED Valentino for years already. Quite ideal for the blooming season, there are a myriad of macro flower printed short dresses with the cutest details that will turn you into a real princess.
While floral patterns are the key point of the RED Valentino spring/summer 2014 lookbook, you’ll also be dazzled by the butterfly motifs, black-and-white gingham prints, as well as the fab leather appliqués and the gorgeous color palette, including both timeless blacks, whites, grays and earth tones, as well as pastel yellows and pinks. The dresses come mainly with full skirts, while the tops mostly feature peplum details, frills and cute bows.
There are undeniably lovely ladies dresses, flirtatious tops and fab outerwear options available in the RED Valentino spring/summer 2014 collection, but also an array of sweetheart ballerina flats with delicate bows. No less amazing are the beauty options presented, which are all about fancy braided updos decorated with bow headbands and soft minimal makeup. The start of New York Fashion Week is definitely promising and we can’t wait to see the new spring 2014 trends being unveiled daily!
