Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James Teams Up With Net-a-Porter for an Exclusive Capsule Collection

The Big Little Lies star Reese Witherspoon launched a summer-ready capsule collection for her lifestyle brand Draper James at Net-a-Porter. Reese’s character, Madeline Martha Mackenzie, became a true virtual style icon. In fact, Reese’s personal style is pretty much the same as her character in Big Little Lies. Fans of the show already know Madeline’s sleek style. Her signature A-line skirts, white shirts and chic heels are mom-approved and ultra stylish at the same time.

Great news for all the fans and admirers of Madeline’s chic colorful outfits! Reese’s brand new capsule collection is exactly what Madeline would wear this summer. The collection is available exclusively at Net-a-Porter, a luxury online retailer, well-known for its successful capsule collections with smaller designers. This is the first partnership between Reese’s label Draper James and Net-a-Porter, and her first ever partnership with a global retailer. The collaboration resulted in 21 gorgeous pieces of clothing that reflect Reese’s cheerful personality and chromatic style.

Reese’s capsule collection is dominated by colorful florals and playful flamingos. If you have a wedding or family gathering to attend, you might find your perfect match right in this collection. Besides formal events, the collection will get you covered for your picnics in nature or leisure walks in the local park. The gingham dresses, A-line skirts, girly tops, and jumpsuits are a pure reflection of how the American South dresses up for the summer. Playful chic cuts that are super comfy and fashion-forward are present all over the collection. In Net-a-Porter’s words, the capsule collection is “a feminine yet refined approach to summer dressing.”

Reese also explained the story behind the collection: “The inspiration was a summer garden party, with all the dresses you end up buying in the summer to go to weddings and in the South to go to steeple chases.”

The entire collection retails from $150 to $570 which is a relatively affordable price for all those who want to try the luxury Net-a-Porter online shopping. Reese’s collaboration with Net-a-porter was pretty unexpected considering the fact that the famous retailer prefers advanced fashion and brands with prices that break the bank.

For the purposes of the collection, Reese was closely involved in creating and developing the designs with the Net-a-Porter’s team. Their fashion director, Lisa Aiken, stated that their partnership with Reese opened them to new customers and offered something new to their existing customers. Lastly, she described the collection as high summer and vacation dressing.
