The Reformation spring 2016 wedding collection is here! The brand stands for some pretty great things, bringing us killer dresses that do not kill the environment with them. Everything is eco, organic and utterly protective of the land we live in, meaning that the brand has quickly risen in the ranks and gained incredible popularity for their simplicity and adherence to style. It is almost like we are looking at the hippies of the modern century, except without the bad taste in near everything. This is why we are rather loving the new collection, the simplicity and trendiness of each piece truly appealing to our better senses.
Reformation’s bridal collection for SS 2016 was launched online today as well as appearing in stores, with a whole slew of styles aimed at keeping the bride and bridesmaids very happy. Plus, it offers some lovely alternatives to the traditional gowns that are more of a turn off for the modern woman than coveted it appears these days. Reformation has really done a great job at finding the medium between the not fussy and the formal attire, giving us a Californian breath of fresh air. It is the boho brides headed off to the black tie affairs with this darling line-up.
Something that you should be aware of is the pop up Reformation shop that is coming to the Los Angeles area in a few weeks, to be open to the public come mid-March, a store that will be giving the ladies a chance to choose styles, get fitted and receive their dresses at home, without causing one much bother. A standard bridal salon is often crowded and stuffy and just too full of faked or real enthusiasm. There is a bit more authenticity to the pop up shop experience, where each bride is given an appointment and gets the space all to herself. No walk-ins allowed!
There are quite a few pieces to be found in this collection actually, which includes 8 interesting silhouettes that fall under $500, along with some new hues and pretty prints. There are a grand total of 72 looks to be found, from the simple bridal to the sexy bridesmaid designs. One of the lovelier looks is reminiscent of a delicate vintage cape, looking pretty amazing in the waterlily color, the capelet dress also available in an ivory and midnight color. Flowing, wrapped and with just enough skin shown, there is no way not to love this piece.
We also have the Julieta dress with the sweetheart neckline and the little cap sleeves, the slit on the side allowing the wind to lift the fluttering fabrics. The collection includes a few Catalina dresses, an Isabella dress, one in Romanica, one in Francesca (all plunging necklines and all), pretty gorgeous wraparound Winslows in plum and ivory, some loose Fionas that are great for the ladies who like to get air down what they wear, with the Mias and the Fleurs also garnering much attention. There are so many different styles to the Reformation 2016 bridal collection, we can hardly wait to shop that which fits our own, no matter if it is a Dorris Cape or an Ariana, Pavlova, Sophia, Lara or otherwise.
