Bohemian fashion comeback is very strong, now we know that. Some people even suggest calling today’s fashion “2nd ‘70s” and that would totally make sense. But as long as we are plagued by the bohemian air and cannot resist the addiction, we say let it stay and be as powerful as possible. Our favorite British high street brand has come up with its new collection and advertising campaign inspired by the ‘70s again. The gorgeous pictures of the River Island fall 2015 ad campaign, featuring the rising star Hollie May Saker and captured by the objective of skillful fashion photographer Emma Summerton, were made with creative direction of London art direction Studio Blvd. And looking at the imagery it becomes prefect clear that the new River Island pieces are as alluring and luxurious as ever.
You might remember the youthful Hollie from the Nina Ricci fashion show at Paris Fashion Week, when she punched one of the topless feminists, who was trying to pull her skirt and get her in the “march”. From then on we know the 18-year-old as a determined professional who takes her work quite seriously and won’t let anyone get on her way. The pictures of the River Island fall 2015 collection campaign are only adding proof of it. Posing next to male model Simon Nesmann the blonde beauty appears perfectly confident rocking looks with fur accents, floppy hats and feminine blouses styled by Edward Enninful. We love how diverse the collection is to recreate cool cowgirl looks from popular American Country movies, and emulating the model’s style sporting black long-sleeve chambray shirts teamed with black ellipse belted bell-bottom pants, lacquer boots and the signature cowboy hat. There are so many numbers that one cannot but admire, such as the chiffon orange-coral blouse paired with short lacquer snakeskin eggplant tube skirt, topped with a fluffy hairy magenta coat, and accentuated with leopard mulberry-apple boots.
The creamy-beige wide-leg high-waist pantsuit worn with a white monochrome womanly blouse is nothing but a sumptuous look proper for wearing to a date, workplace or an evening stroll with friends: just add or take off accessories and you will look awesome. There is so much luxury about these exquisite River Island pieces, like V-neck belted little black dress, the black dress with a side-slit, the midi pencil skirt and a chiffon top, the leather trench with a furry collar, stylish skinny leather pants and the ever-trendy high heel black lacquer shoes, which are all irresistible. Shoes and handbags are a weighty part of the line. And if you need cool accessories to finish off your looks, think black leather boots on high heels with open fronts, marmalade-squash tote bags and black suede messenger cross-body bags with embellishments.
So much can be said about the River Island fall 2015 collection, but we choose to keep it short and just say that we have fallen head over heels in love with this line, which you will certainly understand when looking through the pictures, which speak for themselves!
