Rochas Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – Paris Fashion Week

Romantic femininity meets subtle sporty and masculine vibes in the newest Rochas spring/summer 2015 collection that came to make the second day at Paris Fashion Week spring 2015 memorable with its unique designs and creative new trends. It’s the second season for Alessandro Dell’Acqua – the owner of No. 21 fashion brand – as the creative director of the famous French fashion house, who came to replace Marco Zanini back in 2013, bringing new vibes and a new signature to the Rochas ideology. As a result, the new Rochas collection shows the designer’s skillful techniques of spicing up the beautiful and the elegant with an industrial-futuristic vibe that did feel extremely romantic and one-of-a-kind on the catwalk today.

The typical Rochas femininity and fragile style were preserved throughout the entire collection, as we saw lots of delicate lace, graceful florals, see-through fabrics and flowing shapes from the very beginning of the show. The desire to show a beautiful hybrid of a classic shirt and a girly dress was felt instantly, as we saw those dresses with typical shirt collars. They certainly looked modest and divine and gave a more casual touch to those cocktail and evening dresses.
The show started with a subdued color palette featuring wearable neutrals and pastels adorned with lots of precious floral embroidery. We saw lots of flowing chiffon dresses and ones made of a see-through fabric that gave a touch of boldness to the pieces, yet never made them look provocative. What made these looks especially special and spectacular were those creative shoes resembling Christmas tree ornaments, tinsels to be more precise, coming matched with white socks with a black stripe. Those shoes and socks actually completed every single look presented, including those breathtaking long gowns. In terms of accessories, we also loved those sporty belts tied around the bust and coming to spice up even the most feminine and elegant clothing items. They actually served as key details for the entire collection.

While nude and white looks prevailed in the Rochas spring/summer 2015 collection, at the end of the shoe we also aw lots of stunning black items, all preserving the same design solutions and details, coming adorned with see-through fabrics, sporty belts and collars and flowing silhouettes. There were also sleeveless dresses, ones resembling luxurious slips, completely transparent tops matched with full skirts and evening black coats or jackets topping the gorgeous gowns.
Besides the monochrome and floral printed pieces, the collection also featured items printed with nature motifs, including those lovely bird prints that looked so playful and cute. We also loved the shimmery golden coat and the shirt using the same fabric that looked so ornamental, yet extremely bewitching.
The Rochas spring/summer 2015 collection will appeal to the big crowd of fashionisers, who want to look unique and special at important events and parties, wearing pieces that no one else will wear. So be the first to own these stunners and dazzle everyone around with your original style!
