We definitely enjoy watching the Sass & Bide spring 2015 campaign taking the photoshoot outdoors with “It” girl Langley Fox and Australian singer Matilda Dodds. The new line is called “The Dance of Fibonacci” and features woodsy settings as the duo add a splash of color to the great outdoors with their aqua strapless pieces, black crop tops and striped designs. The only problem with this collection is that it appears that the models are the ones available for sale instead of the pretty little ensembles.
The Australian women’s fashion label worn by Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker was founded back in the late 1990s by Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke and began its spiral upwards to fame by modifying jeans from retail outlets to meet their own vintage tastes. Loved by the actress, a great deal was made and the two young women behind Sass and Bide made their fortunes quick enough! At the moment, the famed brand belongs to the up-market Australian department store chain known as Myer, wherein after beginning with buying majority shares, it now owns 100% of the company and has taken it upon itself to launch the new Sass & Bide spring 2015 campaign.
Spring might still be a little chilly for such pieces, but it appears as if the strapless is a staple for Myers’ Sass and Bide fashion label. Amidst the weeds and the crash, not yet green as the winter still rages on, stands a lone woman in a zip up strapless crop top with s structures chest design that rather remind us of a bustier. Add high waist flowing wide legged jacquard print pair of pants to the mix and you have a rather intriguing spring set. You might need a jacket over it as well though, unless you live in a tropical region where the frosty winds won’t be of any bother to you.
While some of the pieces of the Sass & Bide spring 2015 collection are strapless designs, others are rather intriguing in their geometrical cuts. The asymmetrical skirts are one common trend of the spring 2015 season, while geometrical cuts also make the list. The single shoulder black color blocked geometrical element printed dress with an asymmetrical hem and tailored waist is actually one of the most flattering pieces of the latest collection to be seen! It has that woodsy element that the background is trying so hard to achieve as well.
Of course, not all the pieces are fitted to the body, and that’s been made clear with most ensembles including a section that flows more freely, adding comfort to the overall look. We also have wraparound lightweight polka-dotted and slightly sheer fabrics that sit low on the waist, have a plunging V neck and long sleeves, coupled with equally lightweight mini shorts in grey and white stripes, playing on the combination of patterns, just as the spring fashions dictate us to do. Throughout the whole of the Sass & Bide spring 2015 collection, the models are dressed in fringed bangs and boho waves to their medium length hair, all of which is also very much part of the fashion expectations for the season.
