The new Stradivarius fall/winter 2013-2014 campaign literally “rocks”. Why literally? The answer is simple; you just feel the touch of Grunge, the subgenre of alternative rock music of the ‘80s in every piece of this fresh and youthful line. The collection has already been given the name “Back to Grunge” meaning back to the ‘80s, when the youth gathered around a sludgy guitar sound, spoke about art and fashion trying to find meaning in their world, since they were ignored or misunderstood. However, they were not weak or miserable.
The Stradivarius fall/winter 2013-2014 campaign represents exactly the 80’s youth: strong, unique, mythical and sometimes even extraordinary personalities ready to fight for the truth and justice. To create this youthful feel, Stradivarius has combined three unique trends together: punk leopard, rebel college and sport monochrome.
The wild leopard print, mulberry, green and black colors are just wonderful supplements in this collection. And, of course, the theme of the mythical ‘80s and rock wouldn’t have been completed if it hadn’t been for the eye-catching and seductive leather.
The checkered shirts, baggy pants, sweatshirts and trench coats inspired by the American schoolboy prevail in the Stradivarius fall/winter 2013-2014 collection and give it kind of a sporty accent. However, the trendy tights, short leather skirts and leopard print jackets add a different, more mature value to the fashion line.
