Stradivarius Spring/Summer 2016 Campaign

The official website of Stradivarius has been updated with the brand new spring/summer 2016 campaign that is a little more than feminine and just screams for a vacation you should have in the upcoming months. Spring is feminine mood… Spring is time to fall in love… Spring is a state of mind. This is what the postcards on the website tell us, and we absolutely agree. Spring is also the time for ruffles and pineapples. Even if they are never connected to each other, Stradivarius found a way to tie them up!

Stradivarius Spring/ Summer 2016 Campaign

Denim has been an on-and-off trend, making some of the most popular collections but not standing up firm for its position on the top fashion trend list for 2016. Despite that, there is a lot of denim in the spring 2016 collection by Stradivarius. It includes not only a full denim outfit but also something we haven’t seen in awhile, denim ruffles! We knew ruffles were in trend this year, but adding denim to it makes it so much special.

Although we mentioned ruffles, we see a very limited use of them. There are no playful dresses or even tops. Some of the best pieces we are looking forward to are the leather sleeveless vest worn over a short dress, ruffled over-the-shoulder top, wide legged red capris, high-waisted denim capris with a cream top featuring a flirtatious knot in the front, and more.

One of the pieces we absolutely loved is the letter bomber jacket, “Kissing Point” written on the back. This is the perfect message for a collection that breathes friendship and love. Only make sure to turn around in time, your true love may be approaching from the back!

The theme is contagious! We’re in love with this spring inspiration, but the color palette is not flowery and sunny at all. It contains the color of the year, red, as well as a lot of black, creamy colors and blue for the denim.

The Stradivarius spring/summer 2016 campaign was shot in a retro apartment, which probably used to be inhabited by a biologist, considering the number of plants you see all around the place. So, an interesting mix of indoors and outdoors, surrounded by torn furniture that would definitely celebrate its 50th birthday, if it could. Nonetheless, nothing throws shade over the collection, a trendy youthful vibe that the average Stradivarius customer will surely respond to.

It’s about comfort and practicality; you don’t need the glamorous halls of New York or the luxurious palaces of Paris. Feel luxurious within and let it shine through you, turning any surrounding into a playground for your spring attitude. What will you say, Stradivarius? Are we on point with this?

Overall, the collection is injected with careless positivity. Relaxed looks spiced up with tiny details of flirt and girliness; that’s Stradivarius this spring!
