We just love this flabbergasting and ultra-beautiful line unveiled on the first day of New York Fashion Week fall 2014! The super astounding Tadashi Shoji fall/winter 2014-2015 collection proudly presents all the wonderful and breathtaking dresses and top and skirt combos that we couldn’t even dream of. It’s literally embedded with all-time striking and to-die-for vibes, becoming more and more eye-catching with every single piece. The huge variety of the shades the color palate includes only enhances the effect of the line.
Talking about the pieces of the Tadashi Shoji fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, we may note the spectacular Oriental inspiration that was brought forth with the design patterns, and the music accompanying the show. Another catchy detail was the optical projections of the most frequently used design patterns on the walls fronting the catwalk. Thus, the collection started with an absolutely wanna have all red sleeveless dress with catchy laser cuts presenting the preselected patterns. This is followed with a tee dress of bordeau shade with similar transparencies achieved with laser cuts and nice designs.
The following wonder is the long-sleeved option carrying the mysterious black shade. The stunning ankle strap shoes complemented the look ideally. Further, we can’t but also note the relaxed mini dress with curious shoulder cuts and the stunning white option with uber-cool design patterns.
The amazing floor length dress with long sleeves is what comes later. The lace resembling patterns are also here used for the following fluttery white dress with super cool body flattering shape. The zigzag forming designs for the following white floor length gown is just another stunner here. So is the red mantle plus white body-con gown combo.
Going on with the looks of the Tadashi Shoji fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, it’s the black version of the previously seen design patterns we see. Further comes the purple and blue look with flare bottom, some glitter and an alluring V-neck.
The scrupulous drapings, and many layers of subtle fabrics used for the coming looks are also quite noteworthy here. This was the key of chic of the blue chiffon dress, and its color pairs being red and black, in case of which we also saw some striking glittery sequins for the top and a super attractive open design for the back.
Further we see the vintage inspiration come alive on the runway, being introduced with the long sleeved bluish look with some pleated details and spectacular collars, seen matched with ruffled looks for a coral wonder. This was immediately followed by a brownish grey semitransparent dress with ruffles again and a black alternative. Bateau neckline was the key of the next stunning red gown.
Going on with the Tadashi Shoji fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, we discover the following array of stunners being designed with a catchy mermaid-like glitter and applied to a luxurious brownish floor length dress, and an extended version with long sleeves and a boatneck with floor sweeping finish. Similar glittery texture could be found with the next navy blue piece, too.
Finally, it’s the velvet details that finish up the Tadashi Shoji fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, being presented with a chic bordeau dress having some velvet designs and sequins, a stunning strapless black with elements of navy blue velvet and a bordeau body-con option, adorned with long sleeves and velvet stripes, finished off with a train tail. The romantic updos of the models complemented the looks ideally.
