Temperley London Spring/Summer 2017 Collection: Sunrise to Dusk

We have always loved Temperley London fashions and with good cause! Alice Temperley is all British, all style, and as she’s proven to the world, full of awesome. Her fashion label launched back in 2000, this millennial project has certainly developed into one of the top stars of the London Fashion Week, making her Temperley London spring/summer 2017 collection an incredible sight to behold.

Looking anything but her 41 years of age, Temperley has the spunk and creativity needed to bring her work to the forefront, something she manages to do with relative ease these days. As for the upcoming spring looks for 2017, she certainly has you covered from head to toe in brights and beauties, meant to have you looking as light and youthful during the summer festivals as you feel during the warmer days.

Of course, the style of this presentation will not appeal to everyone since the idea of glamping (glamorous camping) is not everyone’s cup of tea. For us though, having some awesome pieces to wear out to a good festival is a must and Temperley London is quick to provide what is asked for.

It is a highly specific collection and brings happy-go-lucky individuals with dolled up RVs, sipping champagne while listening to the latest beats comes to mind. Lazy weekends in high fashion anyone?

The colors induce a summer festival feel and the styles presented are quite feminine, with gentle sways and perfect falls of fabric against lady curves. Halter necks appear a dime a dozen, maxi dresses are a must, smocked peasant tops are never going out of style it seems, and a whole bunch of dreamcatcher motifs bring the hippy out in all of us.

Teasingly playful and utterly divine, we are in love with the whole thing, from the pattern combinations to the decorative scarves around the necks, the patterned ankle-banded sandals to the slouchy wraparound looks that bring in a taste of India. We see single-shoulder designs and some off-the-shoulder longer sleeves, little rompers with plunging necklines and slanted ruffled fabric adding softness to a piece.

A few A-line skirts also come into the mix, never losing their colorful patterning, while there are multiple jackets to choose from throughout that incorporate the summer feel down to the buttons. The silhouettes are elongated, the sleeves at varying lengths, the hair let loose around the shoulders and the eyewear simply too lovely to pass up on when the spring and summer months roll around.

We even see a touch of translucent here and there, binging the focus to long legs that are defined with the high-heeled platforms adorning the models’ feet. We can totally see Temperley London designs taking over the summer shopping sprees. That leopard print center-split maxi most certainly has our name written all over it.
