The 71st Annual Tony Awards took place on June 11 to celebrate the achievements in Broadway productions during 2016-2017. The ceremony happened at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City and Broadway’s biggest names were there to celebrate the best in the theater.

As always we had our eyes on the red carpet. There was a little bit of everything from classic glamorous gowns to unconventional bold choices. Some celebrities ditched the classic gowns and opted for daring designs that stood out. Take a look at the fashion highlights at the 71st Tony Awards.

Condola Rashad traded the classic long gown for an interesting Vivienne Westwood satin silk midi dress. The charm of the dress was in its tailoring. The discreet belt gave structure to the design while the splash of orange and gold color broke the all-black monotony. Condola opted for elegant black strappy sandals and discreet jewelry to preserve the elegance of the silk dress.
