Aside from having a new bae, having an ultra-popular world tour and attending all of the most famous events in the celebrity world, The Weeknd also found time to make an addition to his Starboy collection. The famous singer made an announcement on his Facebook page that he is launching the 2.5 Starboy collection. The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, posted a picture on Wednesday which shows that the event will take place in 8 pop-up stores located in different cities around the United States and Canada, during the upcoming weekend 5-7 May.
This time the singer paired up with Bravado, to make this event happen. All of the stores will feature exclusive and limited clothing pieces, most of them with a printed signature sign by The Wekend, his famous XO. As shown by the lookbook, the capsule collection will include hoodies, bomber jackets, tees, hats, denim jackets, made even more chic by adding graphics and patches from the star’s latest album. The prices for the merchandise is mostly in everyone’s price range starting from 28$ to 295$. Every single store location will also offer limited-edition designs of the 2.5 Starboy clothing line, which you will only be able to buy at that specific store.
All of the fans can get their hands on the limited clothing collection in the stores located in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami Beach, Houston, Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. The shops will only be opened for a limited time from Friday to Sunday, so if you are planning on visiting one better hurry up and get in the waiting line.
This is not the first time that the mega-popular star has collaborated on a fashion line. The famous designer Alexander Wang teamed up with the Canadian singer in 2015 to create a grungy capsule collection that sold out extremely fast. Earlier this year, The Weeknd became H&M’s guest stylist. And there is also the highly anticipated collaboration with the brand Puma, but the only thing we can do for now is to wait. This only speaks for a part of his many successes in the fashion industry.
Just days ago he attended the Met Gala, alongside his girlfriend Selena Gomez, making a stunning appearance in a Valentino suit, and giving everyone one more reason to call him a trendsetter and wanting to own at least one piece of his collection.
