The one collection to meet our requirements has been Tod’s fall 2015 fashion line, which we liked so much when showcased back in February. This Italian brand knows too well how to create numbers for those who already know their stable place in life or at least want to appear that way, and their campaigns also correspond to this motto. This time for their Tod’s fall 2015 campaign, the brand has chosen a familiar face from Valentino and Yves Saint Laurent’s campaigns, Grace Hartzel – an American beauty with ocean-blue eyes and signature brunette hair with straight bangs.
Sticking to simplicity and an easy background, the shots are taken in front of mahogany, beige furniture to emphasize the natural colors and unique fashionable designs as well as possible. We love these basic must-have clothes like the white shirt with lovely laser-cut embellishment on the edges and the sleeves. That is such a good match with the black leather bag and dark blue straight classic pants. Of course, accessories could not but accentuate the stylish office look being in the form of a big gold ring with a huge square stone on it, and a chunky golden bracelet. Another fascinating outfit makes up the dark-wash denim pants and the long-sleeve chambray shirt tucked into it that has such nice ornamentations on it with black tear-shape stones. For this look the creamy beige bag, gold and white ring and bracelet come to be amazing complementing details. And the third look displayed in the Tod’s fall ad campaign consists of a brown leather jacket with white and pink geometric patterns on the sleeves, a navy blue sweater, and classic straight pants styled with a creamy bag, a golden ring and a long necklace with an unusually attractive pendant. The style of the shots wholly represents that lovely warm spirit of fall in the clothing, wavy hair and brown smokey eye makeup with nude rosy lips. The ad pictures put the focus on the Cape bag and the new Wave Bag that are both stylish and spacious enough to carry your necessary belongings.
The official website of Tod’s tells us that the campaign carries over the story of Tod’s Woman from last season when it all began. An intense and feminine woman with a refined style derived from a marked preference for elegance and quality is the brand’s character for the season. This new collection is meant for an inspirational yet authentic lifestyle with every product enhancing the exquisite Italian taste and charm, which definitely have always made the basic values for the Tod’s brand. Well, this campaign really proves right for that aim: it does represent that chic style that looks splendid on a daily basis for going to work or creating modern and feminine looks any other day.
