Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2014 RTW – London Fashion Week

A pinch of passion, elegancy, femininity and devotion combined with a delicate taste and a deep understanding of fashion business is enough for handsome and artistic Tom Ford to create his new season dramatic collection, unveiled at London Fashion Week. The darkness of the podium, the mirrors reflecting luxury and creativity, the dreamy soundtrack from Chris Isaak and the sophistication of the fashioner makes the Tom Ford spring/summer 2014 collection a successful and remarkable one.

On his way to create the image of the successful and unbeatable woman, Tom keeps the looks as feminine as possible. The strong powerful woman – the main character of the show, is no more the weak and fragile creature, who is waiting for her prince to come and save her. In fact, she is ready to fight and win the tough battle of life by herself. This is the new side of the willing, capable and vigorous female of the 21st century. The inspiration for this brave idea was the controversial and imaginative paintings by Mark Bradford and Jose Parla.
If a new cartoon character was launched named Superwoman, Iron Lady or Dark princess, she would definitely choose her artistic costume from one of the first four looks from the Tom Ford spring/summer 2014 collection. The brown leather jackets, dresses and skirts give the models a strict, yet very informed and smart look. If a woman were chosen to save the world from the next Armageddon, she would definitely choose the skinny short dress with metallic and illuminating embroidery. You can easily seduce even the most uncaring man with any of these dresses.

The Tom Ford spring/summer 2014 collection has a subtle downside, though with the outfits being amazingly hot, it’s not really proper to wear them in everyday situations. Even some artists might be ashamed of their fans to appear on the stage in these revealing looks, though you can be almost sure that Miley Cyrus will find a chic look to surprise the whole world on MTV show.
