Parisian brands are distinct in their tastes and the Vanessa Bruno looks are no different. We are talking funky print pairings and strange ruffles at the waistband, alongside collections that have pieces galore for women of all ages, from the young and hormonal to the older, more settled career-oriented individuals. When it comes to the Vanessa Bruno fall/winter 2015-2016 collection put on show at the Paris Fashion Week, it means taking into consideration a whole load of different professions as well, from the litigation lawyer to the interior designer, the fashion blogger to the CEO of a grand company.
The Vanessa Bruno woman is an interesting one. She has multiple faces and multiple styles, going from the baggier, more casual stay-at-home mother or lazy Sunday lover looks to the chic and sophisticated, perfectly tailored suits. Plus, she can rock that lacy mini dress as well as a young lady of 17, looking just as delectably sweet with the high round collar and the gauzy sleeves, the ends of each ringed with a sliver of black that is accentuated with a pair of black ankle strap kitty heels. It is a lovely look that is bound to make a woman feel at least 10 years younger with its style and short hem. White lace has a tendency to have that effect.
Of course, the college princess can also look quite amazing, with a mustard yellow body hugging sweater in a simple round neck, tucked into a pretty black skirt, pleated and at midi height, complemented with the ankle strap kitty heels that are a common sight among this collection. Adding an electric blue velvet cover handbag with black and white polka dotted fabric attached to the side makes for an interesting combination that actually looks really good. There are actually a few different pieces of handbags within the line-up we see here, from a larger mahogany piece paired with a green sweater and ruffle waist brown pair of trousers to a leopard print in orange and black clutch paired with a navy oversized sweater with feathery edges and shoulder, along with an asymmetrical black midi skirt falling around the knees. There is even a rather sexy back and yellow larger clutch that goes so very perfectly with the black on black number that has been accentuated by the white, yellow and black feathers around the waist of the fitted corded high neck sweater. With the hair pulled back from a slightly side part makes this look all the more appealing.
Overall, we are looking at lots of fall colors, including both classic and darker reds and black, brown and mustard yellow, burnt orange and purplish greys, navy pieces and accents of stark white; we have a few rather interesting prints as well that capture the imagination. The yellow pieces at the end of the collection are quite lovely though and remind us that even though the fall and winter seasons have arrived, the sunshine is still always available to us. We may begin walking around in the plunging V-neck maxi dress with the slit up the thigh to the side just to prove that concept.
