Fashion icon Veronika Heilbrunner is back for another chapter with Massimo Dutti, the Spanish label that conquered her heart a few weeks ago. Massimo Dutti has, in fact, now released the second part of that collaboration, an array of editorial pictures that will conquer our hearts, giving us hope their Love Story will just end with a ‘happily ever after’.
If you are not familiar with the name but you know for sure you have already seen Veronika’s face somewhere, it’s because the German beauty is not only all over Pinterest, but is always in the front rows when it comes to the edgiest fashion shows. A highly-anticipated habitué at the Berlin Fashion Week (and not only), Veronika Heilbrunner irradiates the fashion world with her boho-chic street-style looks that are just the best daily inspiration when it comes to choosing what to wear. She is a walking, living and breathing reminder that dressing up in total black is always a good idea.
Besides proving that some of the best trends will always come from Berlin, Heilbrunner likes to share her terrific fashion outfits with boyfriend Justin O’Shea (a trendsetter who was just appointed as Brioni’s creative director), and writes editorials for HeyWoman!, a blog she shares with Berlin-based Julia Knolle, former Editor at Large at Vogue Digital. The stylish duo provides daily inspirations not only about the fashion industry, but also about modern culture and beauty. Speaking of versatility!
If you are intrigued by Heilbrunner and would like to explore her style more, we specifically recommend taking a look at this Veronika Heilbrunner x Massimo Dutti campaign, as it shows everything that’s Heilbrunner-approved and somehow even manages to perfectly mix a cool, underground Berlin-style attitude with breezy boho-chic vibes. Lensed by one of Heilbrunner’s favorite photographers, namely Benny Horne, and styled by Spanish Marina Gallo, the lookbook took the talented woman to an appartment in Barcelona, where she posed surrounded by modern furniture and wide-open windows. The settings harmoniously complete the campaign’s mood, as both the furniture and the landscape that is visible from outside of the windows recall the overall style of the collection.
The looks, which according to HeyWoman! will follow Veronika to various places (“I’ll definitely pack the following looks for my next trip to warmer destinations. It doesn’t matter whether it’s to Las Vegas or Kreuzberg”), alternate sharp-cut designs with boho-chic billowy pieces, and focus on a dark-toned color palette made of grays, beiges and blacks. A long sinuous striped dress interrupts the collection’s solid-colored leitmotif along with a boho printed dress, showing Veronika in killer pieces to easily wear during daytime.
Denim makes, of course, its appearance too, throwing us back to the Nineties and allowing us to literally have the right thing to wear at any occasion. “I love the retro look of the high-waisted denim Culottes. They’re the perfect shorts for hot days when I still want to be “dressed,” and they’ll allow me entrance in any church, palace or museum tour;” said Veronika.
This Veronika Heilbrunner x Massimo Dutti campaign is then particularly appealing due to the great amount of accessory pieces used, which vary from leather envelope bags to fine necklaces and fresh sandals, the simple lines and delicate detailing of which remind us that less is more indeed.
