Viktor & Rolf Couture Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

Like a real ballet! The obviously popular synthesis of deferent forms of art and fashion goes on as we see the next amazing exemplar of it, this time put within the duo of ballet plus fashion. Talking about the brand-new Viktor & Rolf Couture spring/summer 2014 collection, super resourceful designer duo Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren noted: “We wanted to treat Latex as something soft, which it isn’t.” So this paradoxical approach gave birth to super creative and catchy looks, which are especially well-put with the help of the models coming as ballerinas in suitable, cute and absolutely girly dresses.

What is especially spectacular about the Viktor & Rolf Couture spring/summer 2014 collection is the variety of shapes, often put as a cropped top and a skirt of mini length, which are still united into one piece due to the delicate and subtle layer of transparency lying in between. The color and pattern interpretations are very diverse, going from monochrome to print. Talking about the latter, we should also note the nice draped ribbons, which are used as the main design prints, coming in many different forms and shapes. The drapings and asymmetrical shapes also catch our attention and capture our imagination, and for these combos generally the creamy and white are selected.
Going from short to elongated, we can also talk about the asymmetrical designs of the dresses, which are gradually getting longer despite being printed and draped like the previous ones. The voluminous hairstyles of the models are another spectacular aspect complementing the looks.

Thus here comes the next flabbergasting and really one-of-a-kind couture collection, which is sure to be remembered as one of the most creative and charming ones, not only due to the interesting selections of shapes and colors, but also due to the way these looks have been introduced. The Viktor & Rolf Couture spring/summer 2014 collection show was a real harmony made of everything, and that’s one of the biggest reasons for its success.
