The Wildfox x Coca Cola Collaboration

Happiness can be a lot of things. According to Wildfox’s new capsule collection with Coca-Cola, early morning air, your favorite tennis shoes, beating your fastest record, making it to the top, and an ice cold Coke are among the happiest. Coca-Cola is a living model of this sentiment, as shown with the mention of the product in this quote, so there is a clear mashup of ideals between these two brands.

And so, Wildfox Couture has teamed up with Coca-Cola to create basic pieces in a capsule collection that also evokes a sense of adventure and playfulness. Mark Hunter photographed the exciting photoshoot, and captured all of the best aspects of the background, the clothes, and the model herself.

Machii Shaye has an exceptional natural beauty, so the casting was spot on for this active photoshoot. The Wildfox brand has a basis of comfort and ease, so the collaboration with Coca-Cola really allowed for a photoshoot that was easy, open, and natural; a perfect medium for the new clothes.

Each look in the Wildfox x Coca-Cola collection features the soda company’s product, whether by way of the physical bottle, the company motto, or the logo itself. And this mashes perfectly with Wildfox’s brand aesthetic. The looks are simple, easy to wear, and perfect for any casual activity at any time of day. Sweatshirts, muscle tees, and tank tops adorn the lovely Shaye, who is photographed doing yoga, climbing trees, rock climbing, and overall just having a blast around town. This is exactly the way the brand wants their customers to live life, always having fun and always making the most out of everyday situations. The complete looks could also serve a double purpose. They can be worn for an active lifestyle, but are also incredibly comfortable, so you can transition easily between being out on the town in comfort to being comfortable and in your own home.

Machii Shaye’s infectious smile really sells these clothes. Her youthful face is the perfect figure for the customer of this campaign. Young women are the clear target audience for this campaign, as they are the ones most likely to be the recipient of these looks. There is a freedom about each garment, and layered with a cool jacket, skinny jeans, and a modern ankle boot, the whole look would be perfect for a day out. But also, as shown in the photoshoot, you can pair the tops with a pair of athletic shorts or pants and have a great activewear outfit.

Pieces from the Wildfox x Coca-Cola collection are available on Shopbop.com. The fun Coca-Cola tops range from $58 to $98, and the opportunity to scoop of these looks has us all bubbling over with joy. It’s only a shame that so many of the looks aren’t available for purchase.
