“So if we could take one thing on our island? Our Friends.” This is what Wildfox has for the message with the magnificent spanking-new lookbook presenting the inspiring Wildfox Couture spring/summer 2014 collection. Movies were not straying away from the inspirations underlying this line, this time either. It’s all about the scenes of Gilligan’s Island, Blue Lagoon, Leo DiCaprio in The Beach, Castaway, the series, Lost, and the classic Lord of the Flies, that inspired Wildfox to come up with an own suggestion depicting what it looks like when Wildfox gets to an island all alone.
Gorgeous models Emma Stern Nielson, Svea Kloosterhoff, and Mathilde Brandi present the breathtaking garments of the Wildfox Couture spring/summer 2014 collection. Like the tradition implies, the photographer of the shots is Mark Hunter, who once more took the photos of the beauties, Kimberley Gordon edited the photos, Carlene K took care of the makeup, Anna Lee Fiorino created the awesome hairstyles, the flower accessories were added by Kelsey Harper, and all has been accomplished with the skillful work of executive producer Jimmy Sommers.
The Wildfox Couture spring/summer 2014 lookbook images present the creative swimwear options offered by Wildfox, frequently combined with some weightless tops of generally white shade, later followed by an array of tropical inspired images, where the girls are wearing correspondingly printed tops, like it is in case of the watermelon prints for one of the images (also spotted in the Wildfox White Label spring/summer 2014 collection), some jumpsuit-resembling pieces, and delicate and cool dresses with some ruffles and relaxed shapes, too.
The creative combinations of top plus shorts pairs are also quite noteworthy. So are the spectacular text prints used with many tops, reading “Born on the beach” or “My only friend.” The catchy prints variety and the cool accessories matching the looks are another great factor contributing to the perfection of the images. So do the boho-inspired skirts and the denim pieces.
So here comes another summer inspired and uber creative collection bringing the warm beachy season a step closer and making us look forward to it even more! The Wildfox Couture spring/summer 2014 collection rocks, and we have no doubt in it!
