Zadig & Voltaire Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – Paris Fashion Week

The energizing and fresh Zadig & Voltaire spring/summer 2015 collection presents a new, more beautiful side of spring’s famous sporty style, bringing dynamic and cool clothing pieces, which are versatile and easy-to-wear for daily casual chic. Cecilia Bonstrom once again managed to stun everyone with her skills to turn simplistic color shades and styles into wow-worthy designs, which do play a great role in shaping the most wonderful trends and styles for the coming warm season. The Zadig & Voltaire girl is, apparently, a fan of an active lifestyle and she knows how to look cool wearing slightly slouchy and very sporty pieces during the day, and figure-enhancing and playful designs for parties. It’s a brilliant collection that shows how effortlessly chic fashion can be and how easy it is to sport bright colors!

Zadig & Voltaire Spring/Summer 2015 Collection - Paris Fashion Week
The entire Zadig & Voltaire spring/summer 2015 collection is composed of 25 gorgeous looks, all divided into 5 color categories, starting from bright yellow and lovely blue, going to sweet pink and crisp white and ending with the most timeless and gorgeous shade of black. There, however, we also can spot slight metallic silver and gray vibes, used to inject more interest into those head-to-toe monochrome and simplistic modern pieces.
The play with textures and various materials, as well as the unique cutouts and the playful ruffles added to some of the designs are other key techniques used in the collection. Thus, we can see the use of lots of knitwear, leather and fine silk too, used as trimmings for some of the pieces and as a key material for a couple of iconic garments. The usage of the black color and the leather was kind of a rendition to the signature casual rock chic style of the brand.
While the sporty fashion is the focus of the Zadig & Voltaire spring/summer 2015 collection, there we can also notice a lovely play of different styles from the very first look demonstrated, in case of which we had a pair of perfectly tailored and slightly oversized yellow pants matched with a slouchy tank top in the same hue. Next, we saw a cute knitted cropped sweater matched with a mini leather skirt that had a triangle kerchief-like material fastened on the waist (this technique was applied to many more looks presented). Cute straight mini dresses, slouchy sporty pants, one-shoulder girly blouses with frills worn, super-mini skirts, short tailored shorts and classic tuxedo jackets, bandeau tops and skinny pants are all extremely wearable pieces for building up day-to-day rock chic looks spiced up with a high dose of a sporty feel.

In terms of accessories, we saw only comfy and trendy footwear options, being flat sandals and trainer shoes, but also some cross-body bags and slim geometric clutches, all again featuring the same minimalist style.

So embrace this sassy collection, and be sporty and cool this spring!
