Time to take the classics to the next level! This seems to be the task and the challenge Zara set for it this time, and the newest Zara April 2014 lookbook is the best proof of the fact that both the tasks and the challenges have been accepted and carried out brilliantly. Thus, when saying classics, the first thing we mean, of course, is the black and white looks, or the ones created with monochrome white or all black variants. And interestingly enough, this is the basic concentration of this lookbook as well.
The minimalistic vibe is reflected from the very first up to the last look presented in the Zara April 2014 lookbook, and in case of the opening one, for instance, we deal with a pair of shirtdresses, almost reaching the floor length and coming with all-white looks. One of them has the V-curve and the side split as the key designs for the minimalistic vibe used, while in case of the other, it’s primarily about the relaxed shape and the comfy twin pockets on the sides.
Going even further with the all whites, the line also features options like the following knee length dress, coming with some interesting design solutions and shapes. Coming to contrasts, the very first option we notice is the combination of the white tank top with the super dark navy blue straight pants, which almost look like black. Another option of this kind comes with a similar tank top, matched with high-waisted pants and topped with a double-breasted blazer.
Making a shift towards color diversity, we can’t but talk about the pale yellow elongated shirt, which can also be used as a shirtdress if you are bold enough. A brighter tone of yellow may also be found for some soft and fluffy outerwear garments. As for the creativity of the designs, the laser cuts are the first things that come to our mind. Finally, it’s the super stunning floral patterns that catch out attention for the end, coming as key designs for dresses, wide-leg pants and duos of peplum tops and flare skirts.
In all of these pieces colors varied with the brightest shades possible. So be a part of this fantasy and make these pieces your own fantasy of colors and imagination. That’s just what our fave brand meant the Zara April 2014 lookbook for!
