The Zara fall/winter 2013-2014 campaign is out capturing the attention of all fashionisers out there with the cavalcade of top runway trends illustrated, ranging from chic masculine vibes, bohemian touches and femininity to autumn-inspired gray hues and soft lingerie-resembling dresses. The shoot was held in London, which definitely complements the dark-colored theme of the jackets and business style garments Zara suggests this time. Julia Nobis, Juliane Gruner, Mijo Mihaljcic, Ashleigh Good and Caroline Brasch Nielsen are among the Zara girls this fall. We see two themes in this year’s Zara ad campaign. First, it’s all about the conservativeness and businesslike manners. There’s a slight hint about the early ’90s fashion. Jackets with oversized shoulders will be the main cause for nostalgia this season. While there is clearly a lot from the ’90s in the Zara fall/winter 2013-2014 campaign, you can still catch the sight of a new futuristic signature on some garments. Some of the jackets lack the buttons or the zips even on the pockets. The Spanish brand placed an intense stress on clean cuts and fit.
Then, you see feminine lines and colors of the dresses underneath those jackets. Summer is gone, together with the chance to show off your legs, therefore, this time Zara woman hits the season with skirts and dresses below the knees. The new Zara dresses got two eye-catching features; they have romantic floral prints in autumnal shades and feminine colors. This trend undoubtedly looks pretty elegant, but women, who’re not so tall, might find it a little inconvenient to sport them, as it won’t enhance the beauty of their silhouette, but will endanger it.
