Zuhair Murad is by far one of the best bridal gown designers we have seen in the modern day within the fashion world. His pretty “P” Zuhair Murad bridal spring 2016 collection has us melting in response to the celestial beauty that has been showcased before us. He’s brought in everything from the fairy tale romances to the slinky and sultry designs that are sure to be turning heads and dropping jaws all over the place. He is Lebanese after all, and the Lebanese are known for their impeccable style and fashion sense. After all, Beirut was known as Petite Paris for the longest time!
Taffeta, organza, tulle and crepe, velvets and jacquards and embroidered lace; this is what we are thinking when we consider wedding gowns. Of course, some of these fabrics are rather unconventional, but who wants to be thoroughly conventional anyway. Strapless, backless, long sleeves or none, high necks and plunges and body fitting style; these are only a few of the choices we have as women to make when considering the right look for our big days. Speaking about big days, we are already beginning to plan for our weddings that will take place come the following spring, not even a year from now. We certainly cannot wait to walk down that aisle and say our “I Do” vows before partying it up all night long and then sailing off into the sunset for a honeymoon that will not soon be forgotten. Of course, before you can have any of that fun, you need to settle on a dress.
Each designs in latest Zuhair Murad spring 2016 bridal collection has been given a name that starts with a “P” and uses a Western pronunciation. We see a Penny, and a Peggy, a Patricia and many others that follow this pattern. The dresses themselves range from strapless to off the shoulder, from the more revealing body skimming creations to the princess styles with layer upon layer of voluminous tulle that creates the perfect full skirts. There are cinched waists and bows in the back, the ultra-feminine and everything a bride might want. Fairy tales come to life most beautifully as the serenity of a queen is encapsulated in the sweetheart neck, off the shoulder long sleeved designs, with ruffled lace falling open over a skin tight lacy reveal underneath. Speaking about revealing pieces, it comes as no surprise that some are literally barely there peekaboo lacing which show off a good amount of skin under translucent fabric, falling gracefully to the ground. Plunging necklines, mermaid silhouettes, bared backs and matching lace veils all combine to bring about a lookbook that is unprecedented in beauty. There is even a dress with a slightly more champagne color alongside the pure whites of the rest. No matter what though, the dresses appear to be on the clouds with their wide trains and free flowing tulle and organza fluttering about all over the place.
At the end of the day, will you say yes to a Zuhair Murad dress?
